InvisibleShield High Definition for Apple iPhone 5 - Screen

I've been using Zagg screen guards on my past few iPhones and have experienced absolutely no issues. Outside of the counter-intuitive but simple install method, these are largely maintenance free.These screen guards use a wet-install method. While I'm not sure what the fluid in the convenient credit card sized spray bottle is, it is effective at preventing the guard from sticking against most anything (including its self and your fingers). Budget 10-20 minutes total time to install the guard, wash your hands, and have painter's tape readily accessible to re-lift it when you notice the micron of dust between the guard and your phone screen. Patience...isn't optional.The 4 star rating comes from Zagg not playing well with Seidio phone cases. The cases are minimalistic while providing a significant amount of protection from drops/scratches/dents. Because they're low profile, they cause the screen to bunch at the edges - which is aesthetically unappealing (bubbles in the corners, etc). The "case friendly" version counteracts this a bit better, but I feel this issue should have been identified during production and not an afterthought or another segmented product line.Keep your solution - as you can continue to rip the guard up , saturate it with solution, and reapply it if/when your corners bubble.

I recently bought this cover after buying one for only the front. It was messed up slightly so I just went ahead and got this one so I could cover the back also. I don't see what the big deal is when people say they can tell a difference in the screen. For what its worth it looks beautiful, and if you install it correctly, (you CAN do it without paying BestBuy an exorbitant amount) it will look fabulous. I don't notice anything about the way the screen looks vs one without the protector. It did come in a box that said "Original" as if it was the original version of the protector, but when I opened up the package, it said HD on the backing for the covers. All in all I'd buy one again for my wife if she decided to get the iPhone 5.

Cut out for the ear phone and camera is off center ... looks like a manufacturing defect. Zagg Customer Service says it's to allow for the sensor to the left of the earphone. Since the shield would not effect the sensor in the least .. my guess is it's a defect explained away as "ah ... well ... we meant to do that"! Shield works well ... looks good ... not the easiest version to install but works well. Just the whole off center cut is annoying me.UPDATE: I used their warranty to get a replacement and I'm very glad I did. Not only did the replacement come with the dry version with the easy placement tabs and color placement guide ... but the cut outs are perfectly aligned! All is not perfect ... the first was full screen coverage ... this one is a tiny bit short for the phone but not a deal breaker.

I tried to follow the instructions precisely, but accidentally got the film sticky side up. You must use spray, a squeegee, and limited touch of your fingers. I could never get a good seal on the edges after that. I contacted the company and told them I had difficulty installing and they sent me a new shield. I had to fill out a form and return the old shield within 60 days. Hopefully, all will go well. I love the HD shield now and am hopeful I will not have to replace it again for the life of my phone.

This is a great product that is very robust against scratches, and remarkably good at repairing itself. The HD version is nice, but if I were to do it again I would go back to the original. The HD version is more glossy and shows more reflection and smudges than the standard version. Hard to lose with either though! As with any of the screen protectors, application is the most important (no one like bubbles, off-center, or specs of dust underneath). Zagg includes a kit to help with this which is fantastic.

I have had several Zagg invisibleSHIELDs on my iPhones over the years. I've learned how to do the wet application pretty well, but also have had the guy at the booth in the mall install it when I want it just right. I purchased this through Amazon, got the wet application perfect (aligned just right), and after a day, what do I find? Bubbles in the film. Not just a bit of lint that got caught between the screen and the protector. I mean large bubbles that I can move and press with my fingernails. One at each of two corners of my phone. They will not go away. I'm happy my screen is protected, but not happy with the major bubbling problem.

I hesitated to buy this because of all the cheaper versions out there but it was worth it. It seems thicker and stronger and more invisible that any of the cheaper ones I've had. Should last for the life of the phoneBest of all the lifetime guarantee really works. I got a wrinkle and a few air bubbles during the installation and made a claim on Zagg's website. It took about a week but they sent a new one; no questions asked. I had to return the old one but the included a prepaid return envelope Nothing like a company that stands behind its products nowadays.

I've had these on my GPS, kindle and all my cell phones great product recommend them to all my friends. Great item. First issue I had so far is with my wifes iPhone 5 it is starting to peel off and dry up by the button on the bottom front screen 3 months later. Lets see how the warranty goes if they replace it. Will follow up if ZAGG replaces it.Follow.....they sent me a replacement. ZAGG RULES!!!!
