This is a great quality built seat but it does have its drawbacks. The 5 positions for the height of the backrest should only be 2 because you cannot bury the rest deep enough to use the other 3. The seat while very comfortable makes me feel as though I'm sitting atop the tank. The Daddy Long Legs version is a nice alternative if you don't plan to have a passenger. It really is comfortable just wish the rest was as adjustable as advertised and the ride position was back an inch cause the 2 inches gained from the Daddy Long Legs takes away too much passenger space. The backrest is very easy to take off and throw in the saddle bags no tools required.

Made a huge difference from the stock seat. Very comfortable but firm enough to to give you a better feeling of control. Position wise it sits you at the same spot as the stock seat. I ended up buying the non backrest version.

I love the seat, been waiting a year to buy one. I've seen this seat with b/rest for 700 and change. Amazon had the best price bye far! The only thing I didn't care for was the adjuster knob on the backrest, metal to metal, so it will scratch.
