Ode to a small stick of green putty I rubbed in my armpit one midsummer morning
I’ll normally use spray deodorants then feel guilty about it afterwards, partly for the convenience but also because I’m not a fan of too much sticky residue, plus, they sometimes feel less effective. This deodorant stick is the first rub-on deodorant I’ve tried that does seem to address all of those points successfully. It’s definitely convenient, a thin card tube which you push up from the bottom, not too dissimilar to a glue stick. Between uses you can push it back down so it’s nice and tidy. It’s more travel-friendly than most spray deodorants, plus of course the recyclability of the packaging is far superior. The smell is stronger than I expected. The lemongrass is dominant, and it’s really rather pleasant. It works well as an odour neutraliser on the skin too, giving off a natural, slightly citrusy scent that feels gently refreshing, but certainly not excessive. The residue doesn’t irritate me either. Yes it is just a little bit on the chalky side and there’s definitely a visible glossiness and dustiness on the skin after you’ve applied it, but my skin feels like it can breathe through it, unlike some other antiperspirants which I can find irritating as though my pores can’t breathe. So overall I’m really pleasantly surprised by this, the first natural deodorant stick that really works for me and really competes with the less eco-friendly alternatives.(And the title of this review is a deliberate mis-quote from a Douglas Adams book, in case you were wondering.)

Chemical-free & 100% natural deodorant
This is a lemongrass & tea-tree 100% natural deodorant. It's made with in a really cute eco cardboard pack. The whole thing feels very eco & modern. It feels very velvety smooth, you have to be a bit careful when applying as it's thick consistency. It's saying 80g lasts up to 4 month's & the way it is made, & how you apply it (or how often you need it!) it looks like it would. So although a bit expensive to spend £10, it lasts a bit longer. The scent of tea-tree is not one of my favourite scents but luckily the lemongrass is more dominant for sure & it's a true lemongrass scent... However, tea-tree is naturally antibacterial so it's good to have it in a deodorant.🧴Plastic-free🧴Preservative-free🧴Synthetic-free🧴 Authentic essential oils [Lemongrass + Tea-tree]🧴80g=2-4 months🧴Made in the UK 🇬🇧I'd definitely buy it again if there were more variety of scents & was perhaps...half the price 😬I can't comment if it's suitable for heavy perspiration as I don't tend to sweat too much or tend be smelly nelly! ☺️In my opinion, it'd be nice to have other scents (my favourites are orange & geranium, lavender & frankincense etc) or not scented for people who wear perfume but I think the smell wears off & doesn't make you smell like a lemongrass tree! ☺️PS.just thought I'd mention, I make my own DIY natural deodorant at home. It's very easy & loads of recipes are on Google. Just remember to whip it with an electric whisk for a better consistency.

Too expensive, even though it’s a perfect deodorant
These natural deodorant sticks I have been using for a long timeEco friendly and veganNow these sticks may take a bit of getting used to, mainly because of being friendly to the environment are cardboard, so needs peeling before using.Since I started using the cardboard deodorant my out look is a lot different. So my finds, using eco then going back to sprays or other well known roll ons when I have ran out was the worst mistake. These are natural, no added perfumes only essential oil usually. Going back to shop bought reduced me to allergies, my skin did not like the change at all, itchy, sore, back to white grotesque marks. My husband had reactions like me. Basically my body was rejecting the not natural brands.I usually chose these sticks because nothing is wasted, all of it can be recycled, yes everythingThese come in an array of different scents that are natural, and pure.Really good and work, however I have to mention one thing that for me is a bit of a negative, well two things actually. One is the price, we all want to help the environment, so why are these sticks virtually ten quid? Both me and my husband do share anti perspirant pure roll on types, so using both of us twice a day does not last very long, maybe two weeks max. A better way to apply roll ons like this, just do one stroke top to bottom of armpit, so bottom to top one stroke. No need to go up and down several times, all that happens with this, stickiness. One stroke is plenty and saves running out quick, in which we learnt very quickly. Still the price is a big bug bear though. If chemical free and nothing added, why so expensive, less ingredients should make the product cheaper. That’s my view anyway. The scent of the deodorant is nice, some are stronger than others, but for me I like it.Would be nice to have this on subscribe and save for future reference.Only apply on fresh clean armpits, only masks sweat the same as other brands. I hate smelly armpits when people of the public don’t wash, unless the person has medical issues like my friend has.All in all only the price negative for me, as I said used these kinds a lot, do not last very long, but I do have lovely smelling pits and no wetness, no stickiness with one stroke of the deodorant. Will buy again, if the price more competitiveThe deodorant is 80gUnisex⭐️Thank you to the seller⭐️I hope my review helps you
