good for price, pink is not 'peach'
Just recieved my pillow covers and, aside from colour, they are exactly what I expected they'd be. I ordered the 'peach pink' covers and all I can say is, they are a lovely pink that is in no way peach. They have a decidedly blue undertone (cool) not yellow (warm)...think a light, dusty rose hue, or a slightly greyish shade of blush? Whatever you want to call this pink it definitely isn't peachy, but fortunately for me it still works with my colour scheme. As for the cover's material/construction? In this regard they are exactly as I expected. The fabric is (reasonably) plush and very soft and snuggly. My covers didn't come with any labels but I am fairly certain they are made of polyester which, in my experience, is nearly indestructible. I expect they will hold up well to repeated washings (I have already washed/dried mine and had no issues) will be resistant to fading and, aside from oil/grease, will be virtually impervious to stains. The sizing of my covers is accurate and they seem reasonably well made to me, especially given their low cost. The sewing seems secure and the zippers are what I expected. They aren't a heavy duty kind of zipper, more like the kind you'd find on a skirt or something, but if handled with some care I don't anticipate any problems. Besides, I prefer zippers that are thin enough that they don't call attention to themselves.... All in all, I've got no complaints about these covers so far, but if, after some regular use, they don't hold up as I expect then I will edit my review.
