Q: What size do you recommend for a person who's 5'5" and 160 lbs?

Check the measurements in the size chart. My husband is 6'3" 220 lbs and I bought him the XL. I think an L might have fit better as the XL is pretty baggy.

Q: Is the rear zipper functional. We live in an extreme cold area. Can you unzip the back, sit on the toilet and cleanly do you business?

Yep! Works fine for men and women. When you sit the opening is basically from your lower back to the back of your knees, so plenty of space.

Q: I'm 5'6" and weigh 210 what size should i get?

I'm about 5'4" and same weight. I have a Medium. I do have to roll up cuffs, but the fit is good. It's a bit baggy so that I can wear clothes underneath it (camping, etc or lounging) and still have it comfortable. Depending on your shape, curves, torso length, etc., it will vary, but I am overall pleased with mine.

I am 5’6” 200lb with hips as well. The Large was massive huge. I am waiting for the medium to arrive. They are two or three times too big on purpose.
