I bought this specifically for my wood cabin office/workshop that persists with an average humidity of a high 60%, occasionally touching 70%. While this isn't particularly bad for the condition of the cabin or its contents that level of humidity can play havoc with my 3D printer filaments that are hydroscopic. I needed an effective dehumidifier that would work well in even the colder days!In its first use the Devola drew 2 Litres of water out of the air in 24 hours, as it brought the humidity level down from 67% to the 50% I set it to. It has an auto-shutoff for when the 2 Litre container is full, so there is no risk of overflowing onto the floor. . After emptying the Devola then ran for 48 hours before it once again filled its container with 2 Litres of water. Throughout this second period the humidity level was maintained around 50% (it will swing 3% either side of the set limit).WiFi and AppThis machine has built-in WiFi that allows it to work with the Smartlife app (and in turn Alexa and Google Assistant). Setting this up is simple, you will need to have the Smartlife app installed first. The instructions are in the supplied manual, but not too distinctly identified. They can be easy to miss.The App will tell you when the water reservoir is full, but you do have to go into the app to find out. The device does not seem to provide any push Notifications to the phone, however.Power Usage:The Devola consumes just over 2kWh of electricity daily when set to Auto mode where it will constantly maintain the set Humidity, turning itself On and Off as necessary. The Mode names in the App are different to that on the Devola itself, which can be a bit confusing at first.Conclusion:Yes, this is a splendid compact Dehumidifier that will handle quite large spaces. It is very effective and economical to run.

This was our first time purchasing a dehumidifier after a lot of research online. We recently had our bedroom made airtight and suddenly the humidity was stayingaround 75% all the time and we could feel the moisture when we slept.It works well. We don’t find the noise too loud and have easily slept with it running in the background.It takes the humidity from 75% (ish) to around 45% to 50% in under an hour which is impressive. But you have to keep it running (or as we have set up - on one hour and off one hour during the night).The first night it filled the bucket and has gotten close most nights since.The app is decent as you’ll get for a smart life app but I would recommend getting the machine with wifi if you can. It just allows so much more freedom to control it and it’s easier to use the settings on the app.Overall would highly recommend based on having it over a week.

Does the job it's fairly quite and straightforward to use. WiFi is probably a bit of a gimic unless you set a routine and leave it plugged in.Only used a few times but the only real gripe is the size of the collection tank. It's prob half the size of my previous one.

The WiFi option is great as I can turn it on and off at home and still see the humidity. I still need to switch it on though to see the humidity. It would have been better if you could see it on standby mode but it’s not a big problem. We use it in our salon during the night when the electricity is cheaper.It’s pretty quiet and is very quick at bringing the humidity down to a good level.

I ordered this item for my husband’s birthday and we have tried it out a few times since receiving it. It seems to be working well and can be easily controlled from our phone which is very useful.The child lock in it is a life saver as we have little children.I have been struggling with registering the item for extended warranty due to a technical issue on their website. I kept retrying it over a couple of days, but each time i got the same error screen. I left it for a while, hoping they would get the issue sorted.I then totally forgot about it, but when i retried it a month later I was still having the same issues.I contacted their customer service (39 days after ordering) and instead of getting help and them saying they would correct the issue on their website I was told that i should have tried contacting them sooner through other channels (phone, email etc)… Fair enough but absolutely not helpful…Anyway, no issues with the product so far, however customer service could be more helpful and compassionate.

I have been using this dehumidifier for around a month now. We had a really bad Hall way with alot of mold and always wet. With this beautiful machine mold gone walls dry and was a huge space to have worked.I have to say I'm surprised at how amazing this machine worked and recommend it to anyone that wants a dehumidifier.The dehumidifier is also easy to work and user friendly. Be prepared for humid spots to empty catch tray out one per day.

Fantastic product , low noise , I keep it on overnight helps to dry the washing at a very low cost , it has illuminated the chance of mould brilliant ,so glad I bought it .
