Your Balanced Budget (with removable cover band) Spiral-bound – Day to Day Calendar, January 20, 2017

I have been using this budget planner for about a week now and am in love with it. It's perfect. And although I understand the frustration some are saying they are having at not having enough lines to break down their spending in more detail, maybe I can offer some help.Here's what I did for a solution that is working great for me:I am doubling up on the accounting detail by simply adding a slash mark / on lines where expenses are in related categories. For instance, utilities. I put it all on one line by putting the electric bill on top, then adding a /, and putting the water bill amount on bottom. Another example: I put hotel on top/food bought on travel on bottom. This has worked great for me, because I too like to be more detailed in my accounting and being able to keep separate the usual household food bill from food purchased during travel is a bonus.Hope this helps. I absolutely love this planner, and appreciate the instructions in the beginning. It was exactly what I needed to get a grip on our spending.

I love this budget record. I've tried quite a few different ones but most didn't suit my needs. I love this planner's ability to write in my own budget categories. This is something I can finally get to work to help me get my budget on track. I use this budget planner along with a monthly calendar to map out when my bills are due. Together it's awesome. I highly recommend this and am buying a new one for the new year.

This has been so helpful over the past 2 months. Very easy to see where my money is going. I only wish it was a little longer so I can add more fields for income and expenses since I work 4 jobs and there are lots of possibilities of things for money to be spent on each month. Would also be nice if there were a place to write in the day of the week. The numbered days are fine but I need to refer to a calendar to see what day of the week they fell on when looking back through the month...I can write it in there is just little space to do so. Other than that it's very helpful.

I think the majority of this book's value comes from the written information inside (goal-setting outlines, types of expenses, economics 101 stuff). I'll keep it as a future reference, even though I could've probably found a similar collection of information somewhere online, but the monthly pages could just as easily be recreated in Excel which I might do after filling in this book. The paper is surprisingly decent. Felt pens barely feather and there's very little ghosting. The plastic cover is flimsy and its bends are stronger than the weight of the paper, so the book doesn't lie flat until I put my hands on it. I'm considering cutting off the plastic where it's attached to the spiral binding and then gluing the front and back covers to a decently stiff board. Don't know why the cover band even exists with the product. Of course you're going to want to remove it, it's not even large enough to go over the whole book to hold it closed (which would've been a nice practical feature, but no, it's just a waste of paper as is). In my opinion, paying a higher price for this would've been a ripoff.

I am so happy I purchased this budget book. I didn't know how to follow my spending and I have found this book to be very helpful. It is simple and the layout may not be for everyone but it has definitely helped me understand where I am spending money and do a better job of reducing my expenditure. I recommend it for anyone looking for a change in how they manage their money and not sure where to start!

I have tried many different budget books and apps. This was exactly what I was looking for! The biggest benefit was that I could add my own categories for expenses. When budgeting I don't like to break things down into 20 different categories, I keep them very basic. I appreciate the fact that this allows me to do so. I also like that it is also broken down by days. I'm so relieved to have finally found exactly what I have been looking for.

By writing down how much I spend on a daily basis, I have really gained control of my finances. It was a real eye opener for me! I recommend this for anyone who thinks they really don't waste a lot of money but is always broke. It makes it very clear where your money is going. I like that I can make my own categories. It makes it super simple.

This book is really simple to use and it is easy to see where everything goes. I bought this budget planner to help me learn finances since my husband takes care of all the bills. Tracking all of our expenses has made me a lot more conscious of my purchases and helped me not be so wasteful. I love using this and seeing where I have been able to save money!
