Insightful Roadmap to Achieving the Title of the Book.
As a newbie to this subject this book details all the aspects of this topic in a clear, direct and easy to understand manner. It deals with all aspects of this complicated subject with a clear and simple approach. After reading this I feel that I am fully abridged of the subject and able to relay the information contained within concisely and confidently.Simply a very clear and concise roadmap that deals with all aspects of this wide ranging topic. I highly recommend this read to anyone needing to understand this subject like myself. The authors managed to make a potentially sleep inducing subject both informative and interesting which I really appreciated having initially dreaded needing to learn of the topic.

An original focus on action
I came across this book having heard the authors on David McWilliam's podcast. Having read a lot of books on climate change, Supercharge Me is refreshingly different. It takes the problem for granted - no one really needs convincing that we face an emergency. The focus of this book is on clarifying the challenge, and outlining how we can collapse emissions at speed. In doing so it busts a series of myths. We need investment in sustainable electricity. This is not a cost, because the returns exceed our cost of borrowing. Sustainable energy can be built quickly, because the lead times are short. Refreshingly, the authors are not too idealistic. They say people will only change behaviour if the alternative is cheaper, better, or they are copying others. Companies need to make profits, and politicians need to get elected. They introduce the concept of EPICS - extreme positive incentives for change - which was new to me. They also have a much more nuanced take on carbon taxes, arguing that policy should be designed to make green options cheaper. The evidence they provide globally attributes the success stories to EPICs. On occasions I felt the authors glossed over the complexity of the some of the issues - most of the technical arguments arguments are in footnotes. I would have preferred to have more evidence in the text. The upside is that this book can be read in an afternoon, and it has clearly be written to be highly accessible. It is rare to find a quick read which has insights for the novice and knowledgeable alike. Highly recommended.

Policy focused
Policy focusedMany of their ideas are very focused on governmentpolicy, which I agree is necessary if we are going tohave any hope of addressing climate crisis. A bit lighton individuals. Some interesting insights into thebusiness and financial communities and how they arethinking about climate change.

If ever there was a timely read with new approach …
So oil supplies are now massively reduced because of Russian invasion of Ukraine. This book (written before these events) presents a dynamic new plan of action for governments to facilitate just that. NET ZERO FASTER. Easy to read. Explained step by step by the authors, who are Experts in their field. We all need to understand better and this is the book. Game changer.

Very highly recommended
Supercharge me is excellent - a concise, funny and yet brilliantly illuminating and incisive exposition of how we can drive up our individual, corporate and national 'green'-ness through a manageable number of innovative policies and incentives. I'm not an economist by any stretch, yet I still gained an enormous amount from their clear, cogent dialogue (a really compelling feature of the writing) and expertly chosen case studies. I have recommended the book to numerous people already, and will continue to do so.

Easy to read for non expert
I found Supercharge Me an enjoyable read and easy to understand. I don't work in this field but interested in the topic and keen to learn more, which this book helped me do. Also found it much more optimistic than a lot of the news articles I read. Recommended for novices looking for an enjoyable and inspiring introduction to the topic.

Interesting to review
Using this book as research for the background of a book I am writing. This book helped explain why the world is the way it is.I have already recommended this to my more political friends who I know would benefit from it.The only drawback is it's interview style format. Not really my style but it doesn't take anything away from the message. All in all, good book

Change comes only when we become aware of the Problems at hand.
This book is helping me understand how different groups tackle this problem and how we as individuals can stand up and work on this cause. I’ll definitely recommend it.
