I'll start off by saying if I don't make it as an anesthesiologist, I can fall back on my plan of becoming a welder with this trusty face shield, lol. In this pandemic, I obviously needed a good face shield and I love this one because it has added protection from the bottom too. I can tell if my n95 is leaking if I have fogging in my mask. It's not heavy, the strap around my head is adjustable and I can tip the face shield back on top of my face if I want too without taking it all off. Its easily wipable with those purple wipes, no streaking. So worth the money.

Where do I begin? It is made for someone at least 7 feet tall with a head in proportion. At 5'2", the bottom hit -- and I do mean *hit* -- me right below the collarbone. Repeatedly. The plastic strip on top that was meant to pull it upwards had a tiny protrusion that managed for no more than 10 minutes to stay put, releasing without warning to drop several inches, which meant I couldn't see due to the solid part suddenly covering my field of vision. The side buttons spun but did not tighten, despite my best efforts, meaning that I had to hold it slightly up at all times to prevent chafing on my collarbone. If I tried to keep it partially lifted, it would precipitously smack right back onto my collarbone, pop the little protrusion from its tenuous grip on the hole and drop the whole business back down again onto my collarbone. It's quite the expensive nightmare. I would suggest some redesign and quality control.

I'm a landscaper in Las Vegas and I was looking for some kind of face shield to wear when I'm line-trimming down a lot of weeds in rocky areas. The main reason I bought this was because of the reviews and specifically one that mentioned the necessity of the chin guard. Now this helmet does do a good job of protecting your face. However, that's the only thing that it gets right. First of all, it looks god damned ridiculous, the top is open and you can't wear a hat with it so the sun is beating down on you (and yes it does get hot with that fishbowl on your head), the band that goes over the top of your head quickly digs into the top of your skull, which could be avoided if you could fit a hat on with this thing, and the design doesn't allow you to wear ear muff style hearing protection, so the best you could wear with this would be ear plugs. Also it's all plastic and if the ratchet or basically any single piece breaks, you're going to have to throw the whole thing out. I used it for a few hours and returned it in favor of the hardhat/visor/earmuff combo ones you can find on here for less money.

Things have changed so much due to COVID and it's no different in the skin care industry. I was trying to find a comfortable shield that could be sanitized following each Client and that I could wear a mask under without feeling claustrophobic..this fit the bill! Although, I feel like a bird pecking on a window when using my mag lamp for extractions, the rest of the time I forget it's even on. That shows you how comfortable and lightweight it is. Although, I do have '*phantom shield' once home around my head, it's worth it for the extra layer of protection.I referred a few Esthetician friends to it and the price jumped!!! Thankfully, it dropped a week or so later. It's very disturbing when people try to take advantage of this horrible virus to price gouge! Anyway, if you work in an industry that requires extra protection, I recommend this mask..provided they keep it at $35 or below!!!PS: Ladies! Adjusting this to fit over a pony tail, bun, etc. is a challenge. You need to put the shield on and THEN adjust your hair (learned this the hard way). When you wear a mask all day, so there is no need for make-up, and since you have to adjust your hair each time you apply and remove the shield, there is no need for spending time on your do! This cuts a good 1/2 hour or more off your morning routine! 😉*Phantom Shield..what I mean by that is you have the feeling on your skull like you are still wearing the Shield. It goes away and it isn't uncomfortable. Just an odd sensation. Like after you are able to remove your masks after a long day and you have 'phantom mask'.

I bought this helmet/ face shield for my job during this here covid-19 pandemic. It works fine and does what it’s suppose to do. Even with a mask on underneath. It attaches perfectly with my real work helmet. No problem there.

I really like the design and it fits so well, but it's so filmy and bluish and extremely blurry. I got this so I can do hair when the salons reopen (2020 pandemic baby) but there is no way I can see thru this. Too bad it fits so well but it's going back

Two major problems with this unit. One, gears that should help keep shield in place we’re incredibly loose and wobbly. There was no way to tighten them. It appeared that either the wrong parts were assembled or major parts were missing. The unit was rendered non functional because of this manufacturer assembly issue. Second, the entire shield was hazy and I was unable to find a film to remove either inside or out. I emailed the company’s customer service and they basically blew me off. Not any kind of customer service I would expect. The most disappointing part was that I have an older model of the e act same product from this same company that still works and is probably 20 years old. My husband took it to his job so I was trying to get a replacement so I could go back to my part time job in a small studio where I need protection that stays put as I’m grinding and cutting glass. Avoid this brand at any cost!!!

Bought the Sellstrom 38140 face shield approximately 2 months ago. Wife uses it about 5 days a week, mostly for protection when using an angle grinder for metal art projects.The chin guard is a major improvement over face shields with an open bottom. My wife is absolutely thrilled with it.My thanks to earlier reviewers who pointed this feature out. I wouldn't have known to look for it but I am really glad I did.Bought an extra clear shield for it. No idea if I'll need it but I figured I may as well get one while it's available.This is a great product, couldn't be happier. If something happened to it I'd buy another without a second thought.

I've never felt so secure with a face shield the way I feel with this particular one. I feel well protected the visibility is very clear there are screws on the side and at the back that enables you to adjust to the size of your head.Even if something splashes during any procedure nothing will go on my face It's a little bit expensive compared to other face shield in the market but it's worth. it's also different because of the extra part at the bottom. it gives me a sense of security when i put it on during a procedure especially when dealing with covid-19 positive patients. In addition, the delivery was very fast i was very surprised.Note: Try to wear it when you are not going into Covid room first and play with the screws so that you will know how it works because if you don't tighten the screws on the side and the back it may fall off and by so doing you may contaminate yourself. This shield provides excellent protection against people speaking moistly however it has to be modified to make it comfortable. The sweatband isn't really one at all and it will irritate your forehead within seconds if you don't buy additional padding. I have a dollar store nearby which I purchased cosmetic sponges from and then I glued them to where the forehead harness is, worked great except when you pay 75 bucks for a shield you shouldn't have to modify it to make it livable. It's a clunky shield but it does provide more protection in my opinion than your average face mask or shield. It fogs up quickly on both sides of the shield in cold weather whether you have it placed upward on your face or downward giving you the splash protection. Not a big deal but the band on the top needs to be taped so that it doesn't constantly disconnect, you only have to set it once so whatever but again for the shields price that could be better. To tighten the shield you turn two knobs on the sides of the shield so that you can lift your shield should you want to however the shield does not need to be up for very long before they start to loosen. The knob on the back of the shield which controls how tight you want the shield on your head does come undone frequently which isn't much of a problem, it's just annoying. To summarize, this shield will do the job you need it to do in regards to splash and other small debris that might come your way and I would recommend this shield because they're are less options out there than a person would think but it should be 50 bucks tops. Unless you need it, it's not worth 75.

The shipping box was far larger than expected, as I have seen similarly face shields available in big-box stores, that were packaged on a plastic-wrapped flimsy cardboard card. The Sellstrom S38140 arrived double-boxed, seemingly factory-direct.The quality and care in shipping, is often a favourable sign that a similar amount of care and consideration went into the product design and manufacture.The Sellstrom S38140 face sheild didn't disappoint! I'm very happy with this purchase.

Super le produit. Je peux faire mon travail auprès de mes élèves sans avoir à penser d'avoir un masque qui me nuit constamment quand je respire (buée dans mes lunettes, difficulté à respirer). Je recommande ce produit. Je lui ai ajouté une touche de super héro. Tant qu'à passer la COVID 19, il vaut mieux en rire.

Qulaity is fair enough for the dollar value, and seems to protect face, the downsize is "onesize fits all "and if you are not a big person you constantly hit yoru chest everytime you moved your head forward or look downi nfront of you. It would be nice if smaller sizes were available !
