Heartfelt and meaningful...
Absolutely beautiful! I never tire of Jennifer's ability to spin a heartfelt, deep, meaningful love story. Being married into a family of ornery brothers myself, I love the Murphy family dynamics:)The realness of the characters is what hits. No cheese or fluff that's found in so much of Christian romance. These stories are honest and purposeful. Highly recommend!

Loved it!
This series was recommended in a Facebook group to which I belong, and since the first book was on sale, I decided to try it. I'm glad I did! The opening chapter is a hoot! I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the characters, and I loved the setting since I've been to Lake Tahoe many times. I'm looking forward to the next one in the series!

Inspirational
An excellent read to follow Mark of the Lion, which is a very heavy read. This story of Matt and Lauren is light and inspirational. This is the first book I've read where both main characters were devoted Christians from the beginning. And, as always with Jennifer's books, it gave me some things to think about in my own life. It's off to book two...

Christian romantic fiction
This was a very entertaining and interesting story. I love the Christian perspective and great Use of biblical references. It should be very enlightening for young people struggling to understand the opposite sex.

Always You
Loved this story and the characters. It was humorous in parts and serious in other parts, with relationship issues front and center. Every issue had God’s word clearly pointed out! The book is truly a heartfelt Christian Romance!

Fun But Not Fluff
Jennifer Rodewald writes books that I read over and over. They are that good. I love them and I go back to them. And… she’s done it again – I’ve already read Always You not once, but twice! I read it a couple of weeks ago and loved every minute of it… but got distracted by life, didn’t write a review, read a couple of other books (that I didn’t enjoy nearly as much) and realized to give a fair review I should refresh my memory. And, yes, I loved it every bit as much the second time!Jennifer Rodewald’s characters always have such an incredible depth to them – real people with real issues. She doesn’t disappoint in this newest book. Matt and Lauren are both easy to love. They’re real people with their own struggles… and yet through it all there’s an easy banter and humor that had me laughing from their very first encounter. This book isn’t as long as some of her other books, and so the issues maybe aren’t quite as deep, but you still feel you read something that somehow in the same sitting gives you both a sense of a fun break and entertainment and yet also leaves you feeling like you’ve read something of worth. Substantial. Fun, but not fluff. And as well as she writes her characters, she writes her faith. She doesn’t just throw an obligatory verse or occasional scene in order to call it Christian. Her characters’ faith – and even at times their struggle with their faith – is woven throughout. Integral. Believable. And somehow, she always makes me look at myself a little more closely (and yet still have fun with the read!). Honestly, I’m one who knows her Bible pretty well. But although I know what’s in there, I haven’t put much effort into memorizing exactly where those words may be found – that’s what a concordance is for, right? (Or even a – gasp – google search). The interaction between Matt and Lauren, though, and their use of scripture… made me want to do better – something that no sermon has ever done on that particular point!I honestly don’t know how she does it – write characters that are so real, a story that is so fun, and at the same time speaks into my own life. But she always manages to do it…. The only problem is I can read faster than she can write. I can’t wait to read the stories for the rest of Matt’s family!I did receive an advanced copy of this book from the author. My review and thoughts, however, are voluntary and are completely my own.

Always you
Always youI loved the way Lauren and Matt meet. Matt was so understanding and caring to Lauren. They end up working together and getting to know each other. Matt has his heart broken and Lauren is trying to get a new start. A very enjoyable story.I received a complimentary copy of the book from the author. This book review is my own opinion.
