The surplice bodice gaped and had to be secured with pins. The dress was purchased for a funeral service and was completely ill suited for the purpose.

Very nice. Very soft. However I returned it.I didn’t like the way it looked for my body type.

I love the look of this dress, however it runs a bit small. Also, I was expecting a sturdier fabric, this is very thin and requires a slip. Not necessarily because it is 'see-through' sheer, but more that there isn't much of a fabric there. Rather like wearing a slip.

I just received this today. Haven’t worn it yet, but did try it on. It looks great and has a significant amount of stretch. I’m about 5’8 and weight about 200 pounds. My dress size is 14-16 and I bought a large in this dress. The size chart says I would need an x-l, but I’ll keep the large. It’s a tad tight in the arms, but I’ve been losing weight and I think after a couple weeks it’ll look fine. It hits at my knees. I like the Peter Pan collar and the red flower pattern.

My first impressions on taking this dress out of the package were not good, but only because the fabric was not at all what I was expecting. It is a clingy, slick, synthetic athletic gear type of fabric, and the houndstooth pattern is printed on the front of the fabric, rather than woven in.However, now that I tried the dress on I like it a lot more. It is pretty and flattering, modest but not frumpy, comfortable and fits very well. It has nice deep pockets. The collar is super cute. I love the length, which hits just below the knees. Although I don’t care for the fabric, it is a very nice weight - the dress is not lined, but the fabric is not at all transparent.If it wasn’t for the athletic-wear looking fabric, this dress would be adorably vintage and pretty. I think it would be my favorite dress.I usually wear size 6 small/ medium dresses. The medium fit perfectly.

The material was real cheap looking.
