Chonky boi
I got tired of having to lug around a tangle of different chargers and cables in my backpack, which I often didn't have enough outlets for, or I had to spread out through different rooms to get enough free outlets. The problem is made worse by most chargers having the transformer plugging directly into the output, so they sometimes couldn't be used close together on power bars and stuff as they were too bulky, leaving unused outlets. This charger has a power cord, which is useful in two main ways compared to plugging the charger itself into the wall (which this would be too big and heavy for anyway). One advantage is that this charger's cord and plug doesn't limit anything from being plugged in in the outlets next to/over/under it. The second big benefit is that you can put this charger up on the desk with you. Why is that good? Because you can then just use 6" cables to plug everything into the charger and have it all laying neatly on the desk and useable/accessible. (Normally if you just have 6" cables everything is dangling from the wall, but not with this charger!). In my backpack I have two mini USB-C to mini USB-C cables, a USB-A to mini USB-C cable, a mini USB-C to mini USB-B, and mini USB-C to micro USB-B. If all those cables were 3' long or more, that would be a big tangled mess to keep track of. Much easier now that this charger let's me just have 6" cables! This charger is bulky and heavy. It's probably not saving much space and I certainly don't think it's saving weight compared to carrying a bunch of separate chargers (it's a chonky boi!). However the advantage is that it's just one charger to carry around, plus a small cable organizer with 6" cables and the power cord. The ease of use due to this simplicity is the huge selling point.I can through-charge from my laptop, and when I do I can actually be charging 5 devices at once. I also use a USB splitter that through-charges my phone or laptop while also powering some periferals (though it doesn't charge the periferals, only power them, like a USB keyboard or thumb drive). This charger easily handles everything I can plug into it without getting too hot.

Strange noise sometimes
Mine makes a strange noise sometimes. I don't know if this is normal but I don't think so. Weighing whether to return it or not :-(Update,Yes!!! Yes! the noise finally stopped, and so did USB port number 1. I already returned it.

Horrible Item!!
Update:Now none of the ports work.Stay Away Save Your Money!!!It is a great concept, but does not deliver. I purchased this 38 days ago and intermittently one usb will not charge. I have to disconnect everything and plug it back in regularly. Was hoping this was be great to travel with instead of bringing 4 power adapters for each item. For the past 3-4 days only 1 USB worked, and of course this is outside the return/ exchange window!!

works good so far
So far worked very good. Powering work laptop along with a surface pro personal tablet (need to keep personal stuffs from mixing with business) plus my own cellphone on a week long business trip. Instead of three power supply, this one takes care of all three without any problem (yes, all three plugged in at same time) so next is to see how long it last since some earlier review mentioned it might die.Anyway, so far so good, the business laptop take about 85W and surface pro is much less but surface pro power supply is rated at 45W (I used a USB-C to surface pro power cable) both powered from the USB-C charge ports (two on this power supply) and the cellphone is charged from the USB-A (USB-A to USB-C cable) as cellphone does not take much power, the USB-A port is sufficent for quick charge so I can have the two USB-C charging ports to power the more power hungry devices. The power brick did get warm, which is not surprise, after all I am drawing close to 130 to 140W from this small package. Lay it on a metal surface easily cool it down. The two usb-C charge cables I used was rated for high power (100W for the one to charge laptop and the other is specific for the surface pro). Do not use just any USB cable for charging laptop specially if the cable is very flexible and thin. 100W require certain size of wire otherwise the resistance of thinner wire will cause too much voltage drop and heat up the cable. The charging cable should be at least the same thickness as the cable on your original equipment power cable.

Great charger
I bought this charger after needing more power for multiple devices.I could not be happier.I generally have an IPad pro 12.9"+cellular, a Samsung Galaxy note 10+,and an LG V20 charging and an open port to charge accessories.I heartily recommend this product.
