I got this low flow head to clean my top step without blowing tons of water out of the pool. It was a tight fit for my extractor tool, but finally went into its slot. When I turned on the pump the cleaning head emitted a low growl as the pressure grew. Then it popped up ok, but began a shrill screaming sound. There was no way this would work, so I tossed it and just ate the $39. Later I found my old style 3 head could be flow adjusted and that worked well. FYI it is done by unscrewing the top of the extended head and then selecting a different nozzle size...good luck.

I purchase this brand instead of an A&A pop up due to a better price. When I was installing this pop up with the A&A tool I found that the tool did not lock into the Hydrowave value and I had to file down the losing flange of the A&A tool some in order for it to twist into the pop up. Even after doing this it was still a tight fit for the tool. After locking the value into place and while removing the A&A tool one of the locking flange on the tool broke off. So now I have to purchase a another A&A removal tool. I've used this tool on the A&A pop ups and the tool attaches and releases from the value with ease. So the hydro wave pop up has a minor variance (where the removal tool locks into the value) when comparing it to the A&A pop up.
