I'm absolutely NOT a mechanic, but I fixed 1 car the day I got it, and 2 the next day. Mechanics have told me to buy a newer truck... (nahhh) Or they just couldn't figure it out.... (hmmm) but maybe they just didn't want to do the work. Idk 👨‍🔧I know a couple good mechanics, however they're always booked solid because they're good. I needed my fam car fixed asap... ✔💯I wanted to fix my old 97 k1500 truck... ✔💯My 08 Tahoe needed some maintenance... so I scanned it, read live data, checked some references on data that you'd see if nothing is wrong...Checked what is out of normal range. Cleaned, replaced etc.... Boom ✔💯

Very useful. Admittedly, I had a few problems initially but that was mainly due to me being unfamiliar with the tool. It's not a simple plug and play, but once you update everything and it does great. You MUST install the autosearch before it will ID your Vin, after that, it's pretty straightforward. If it detects a code, you can tap the code and it will open the browser to the code and the most common cause/causes.It has live data and record function, for the money, it's a very nice tool.

I have been using this in my garage for a few months now and on many different vehicles and can definitely say you won't be disappointed with this if you purchase it. It has a lot of functionality even without purchasing the manufacturer specific software. And will add that it is just that. Manufacturer specific not vehicle specific so the software purchase is not tided to one cars vin number. You can do 1 ford or 1000 ford vehicles you only purchase the enhanced software once. Same goes for the other makes like dodge gm and so on. Long story short it's a very capable tool.

I can tell you what I have learned after going on my second higher end scan tool. First, check out the hardware is actually really nice........looking but sucks really really bad. The device only has 16g of memory. It is so low, that you cant upload all of the update to the files for the brands that it has. You have to literally sacrifice some brands to make it work. This could simply be solved by doubling the memory to a mere 32g or even 64g. This, or allow for a microsd slot.Next, the misleading advertising is the worst. Lifetime upgrades. Sure. All of the procedures that it can do bi-directionally, but uh oh....reveiwers say you have to pay for these options PER CAR and PER YEAR. Im out. I have not even tried any diagnostics yet, but since I can't even upload all of the updates, I think its time to go.May give it a shot and just do my homework and find a true bi-directional that does more than this one does. I bought another one that did not do any of the bi-directional tasks it promised, a Foxwell, but it did at least some bi-directional operations, like test solenoids, even though they advertised they could do abs bleeds.

I should of email them first I barely have coverage for my 2017 Ford explore and my 2016 dodge Durango .It has many options but not the ones i needed for my vehicles !

In purchasing this item I wanted the 2023 (newest) model. I received what appeared to be the 2022 model. Little did I know nor was it expressed that updating the free software would update the settings and the display to 2023 model (via the software). This is my first scanner of this quality and I am very pleased with it.

The media could not be loaded. Exactly what I needed! Newer vehicles since my old OBDII reader, so I needed something that would give me the correct and more information. While it did not give me ALL the information I needed initially, it did tell me there was a problem that needed attention. The amount of information you can get from your vehicle with one of these is incredible.
