Worked great, make sure you put screws in alternating side otherwise it's not flat.

Sides should be labeled
Put the whole thing together and it was way off kilter. I took it all apart and swapped the sides and it worked fine. I would definitely check for level before you put it completely together.

Actual veneer? Yes.
The assembly was a bit tedious, but the end result looks quite nice and is rather sturdy. For those wondering about the material of the "wood," it seems to be a decently chunky and semi-weighty particle board, but the veneer is real (with quality texture!) and the lacquer on it is rather attractive. Above what I expected, frankly, I might buy another one. I think the price (I paid $22) is quite reasonable for what this is when compared to other acrylic displays. Even if you own others (as I do), this one is a nice addition for a touch of special presentation. Comes shipped in a specialized and perfectly compact box, so it's really unlikely to get damaged as anything else you'd order from this demonic website.Edit: lowered a point because I realized (I don't know how I hadn't picked this up immediately) that it's not actually level on both sides. This is somewhat easy to mitigate and a weird flaw on an otherwise surprisingly nice thing. This may only be the occasional one of these, but something to keep in mind.

Excellent product. Real wood. Clear acrylic panels that come with a protective sticker that peels off. They're a little difficult to peel; but I finally figured it out. I'm sorry for the confusion. Thank you so much for the awesome product.

didn’t have a protective shield for the plastic glass, it did come a little scratched but still useable!

Not that great
The product is super cute and aesthetically pleasing, but it doesn’t sit flat on the table. It’s uneven and rocks back-and-forth.
