This is a wonderful piece of equipment
Plenty of power chuck is high quality it locks on solid my last ryobi lasted 22 years of heavy use. Ryobi has improved the half inch drill driver 10 fold. Nice balance love the led lite.

HP makes a difference
PBLDD01 (HP) on the right P252 on the left. I bought the PBLDD01 (HP) to replace a P252 because the chuck had seized. The HP definitely feels more powerful and has more torque. The drill did not come with a belt clip and the clip from the P252 does not work on the HP. I will miss the belt clip especially when working on a ladder. There seems to eb a screw hole for attaching a belt clip but it is not clear from the Ryobi site if the RYOBI PREMIUM BELT CLIP (MODEL: #A10BC01) will fit this drill. The drill seems well built and I hope it lasts longer than the P252. The LED light seems to be improved with better spread. I wish the HP came with at bit holder as it is convenient for swapping bits.Pros:- Good power and torque- SturdyCons:- Belt clip not included- Not bit holder

Great quality for the cost.
This drill has performed very well, over a year and ryobi quality seems to get better and better. I won't pay the high prices for other brands any more. I am a cabinet maker and also do many projects around the home.

Solid Quality
As soon as I got this in my hands I can immediately tell that there is power in this drill.compared to my $50 Black&Decker this is a good upgrade for me, other than getting use to the weight difference but I put that on the battery I'm using. I'm very satisfied with it, oh and the only small adjustment I did was add a bit holder.
