They work as advertised. I find they are very easy to clean outside with a hose. However, when it is cold outside I must clean inside the house, not as easy.

We accidentally filled the hot tub with a bad water filter and had to deal with iron in the water. Filter removed all the iron after we added to appropriate chemicals with no issues.

Perfect came as expected. Excellent quality. Works perfect.

Every time you get into a spa, anything loose on your skin (lotions, oil, dead skin cells) will end up in the water. Over a short period of time this can make the water look cloudy and or discolored. I finally cracked the code on just how to keep a spa looking sparkling clean every day. I purchased several of these filters, and I now change out the spa filter every 2 days. Seems like a hassle, but the results were positive and startling. The spa looks now looks great. Here's what I do: I use 3 filters in a rotation scheme: The first filter is in the spa, the second filter is the one I just removed: I clean this one with a high pressure hose nozzle and then place it in a bucket of water w/ a 1/4 cup of Simple Green to soak for 2 days. After soaking for 2 days I remove it and clean it again w/ the high pressure nozzle and leave it to dry for 2 additional days. This is now the third filter that will go back into the spa 6 days later.Believe me, all of this is worth the effort, and the cleaning process only takes about 5 minutes every 2 days. Plus, once a week, I add 2 tablespoons of Pool Shock crystals, and about 1/4 cup of "Sink to Clear Flocculent", both available from Lowes & Home Depot. These items respectively consolidate the particulate from the water (for capture by the filter) and sanitize the water.

I was skeptical at first about the quality of the product, given the price. My local dealer charges ~$85cdn per filter so when I saw that I can get 6 for $160, well , I had my doubts about how good they would be. Turns out they are identical filters and work perfectly. Very impressed and highly recommend.
