Handle cylinder is too large, allowing the 18650 battery to flop around when one moves one's hand. This results in the flashlight changing modes, generally to strobe, and then one has to cycle through the modes by clicking the flashlight on and off multiple times to get back to just persistent light. And frequently the thing loses contact entirely and the light goes off. Returning the product in favor of one that will hold the battery securely. When it worked it produced a great bright light, just way too unstable. Never tried it with the AAA battery holder with 3 AAA's.

I bought this to use when my dog goes out at night. It works perfectly and is very bright. The rechargeable battery last a while and the three AAA battery pack is a good backup to it. Even when the batteries start to drain it lights up enough to use for a while. This was a great buy.

Sliding the front piece that houses the lens, adjusts the shape of the beam from a wide circle, down to a small bright square.The flashlight can be powered using either a single 18650 battery, or three AAA batteries, using an included adapter. This flashlight is part of a kit that also includes a 18650 battery, plastic battery sleeve, battery charger, bicycle handlebar mount, and a plastic carrying case.I received a sample of the flashlight for evaluation. Except for the battery adapter, I did not get any of the other accessories in the set, so I can only speak about the flashlight, which is very similar to other models I have seen and used before. The light output is impressive, and the flashlight is very reliable. The package with all the accessory items included, would be a very good value.

It's made very well, feels good in your hand but then I push the switch and wondered what all the fuss is about? I also have a mini tac light that almost performs as good as the Elecshell Pro but I have an ACE hardware regular flashlight that almost outperforms the Elecshell. So I guess I just don't understand all the hype. Now if it was about three or four times brighter then maybe that would be reason for some hype.Excellent package. Excellent light.The three conventional lighting modes are high, middle, and low, plus two other modes: flashing strobe and SOS. I've used other flashlights that had more modes, but unless you used those modes regularly, it was easy to forget how to use them. With this flashlight , it's very simple and straightforward to cycle through the five modes. The light can be powered by a single rechargeable battery or 3 AAA batteries that fit into an included cradle.

This Elecshell 1200LM CREE Flashlight is awesome. The flashlight is lightweight, compact, and small. It is made out of sturdy aluminum. It uses 3 AAA batteries that are easy to put in and take out. The light has an on/off switch. It is the perfect size to have in our car, house, emergency kit, or in your too kit. I have it simple and easy to use. It was pleasantly surprised on how bright it was and the beam that it omitted.The light features 5 different settings from wide angle, narrow/focused, and long distanced up to 500 meters. There are 3 brightness levels of low, medium, and high (1200). You can adjust the settings by turning the head. The flash is highly powered and it showcases a focused beam. Attached at the end is a nylon strap that you can wrap around your wrist. This flashlight is great! I'm amaze how flashlight are now made with LED. Very Bright and power efficient. This flashlight has five mode: Low, Medium, High and two flashing option, strobe or SOS. The changes are activated by ON/OFF by pushing a neon green button on the end. With adjustable beam, high beam that can be seen for 2 miles. It uses 3 AAA batteries. Rugged, portable, light weight and durable. Great for household, Fix;repair, Camping or as a present. Perfect size to place in a fanny pack for biking, a backpack, my desk, or even a purse for those times I find myself in need of light. It cannot get any better than this specially for a price, I would buy two of these, one in the house and one in the car. Awesome flashlight and solid build just know that when you order the flashlight it does not come with a 18650 battery. Which happens to be the battery they claim with produce the 1200lms. It has 3-AAA capability which is great because I just happen to have those lying around the house. I will be ordering this "18650 battery" so I can get the 1200lms I wanted.
