Pool Skimmer Socks 10 Pack Regular Size

The SkimDoctor works great all the trash collects inside just as described. I am using the skimmer socks on mine , so I collect even the smallest bugs. So far I love it. It takes a little longer to clean it, but the results are worth it to me. Just leave the pump running when you pick it up and all the leaves and bugs stay inside. I needed this for years.

Stocking definitely caught all of the fine particles. If they could be made with a stronger material as with leg stockings, one run and they're gone. Will be interesting to see how long they last for but did a good job.

This is a great product and super effective. It drastically increases the velocity of the surface water heading towards the skimmer. The screw-off top makes removing the leaves very easy. I like the adjustable opening as I have a variable speed pump and sometimes it needs to be wide open and at lower speeds it can be closed to the lowest setting to keep sucking leaves in. Solid buy!

Item looks better on TV and the internet. The speed of the water did increase but it clogged very easily. The netting was very messy to clean and the screws are extremely long. It broke after 2 times pulling it out and replacing.

the sock do great but they are only good for a month max each. they run and stretch.

Due to the design of the sock on the outside of the basket, and the nature of the stretchy material, this product does not work as wonderful as advertised and reviewed by others... The socks do great at collecting small debris that would otherwise end up in the filter, but not without it causing problems. After only a few minutes of use, debris will fall thru the basket and collect in a small, stretched pouch which gets sucked into the skimmer filter pipe and REDUCES SUCTION POWER. If you leave the debris in the sock for very long, you will see it begins to break the seams and tear the material and will eventually end up in your filter anyways. I believe the sock on the interior of the skimmer basket would work much better, but due to the SkimDoctor design, that is not possible. If you use and love your SkimDoctor, do not waste your money with this "add on"...

I don’t know how I lived without these before! The amount of debris that it filters is astounding, I never knew there was so much that goes through the pool filter. These socks stop it before it gets into the filter. I like that they are washable and I’ve been using the same ones for some time now. I highly recommend this product!

This item is probably the coolest and most useful item we have purchased for our pool cleaning needs. Simple to use and catches SO MUCH small debris.
