2.0 Vacuum Attachment Inground Works with 2.0 for Inground Pools

Works as advertised. Easy to use. In my case i have to put a heavy stone on top of the cover to prevent the whole contraption moves out of place when vacuuming, but it's not a big deal. I like that you can put a sock in the basket and prevent most of the debris go to the filter.

I was expecting to attach the hose and trap the vacuumed up leaves in the basket. But when I tried it there was very little suction getting to the vacuum and it could barely move along the pool floor. But when you think about I don't see how it could possibly work. Because when you attach it to the basket which is full of holes the pump sucks most of the water through the basket holes, leaving almost no suction getting to the vacuum. Maybe I am missing something with how I am trying to use this thing with the SkimDoctor.

This seemed like a great add-on to the new Skim Doctor, but the first attachment the company sent was so tight I had to use pliers each time to remove it and re-attach the SkimDr column. The company gladly sent a replacement which was marginally better, at least I do not need pliers to remove the pieces. Overall, if you already have a spare skimmer basket and standard suction attachment, I recommend you save some money and continue with that approach rather than pay for this add-on which I feel could have been included in SkimDr 2.0 for the price.

The Skim Doctor System really improved the skimmer on my pool by orders of magnitude. Nothing floating ont eh water any more, and this hose hookup makes it very easy to hook up the floor vac from time to time.

Just FYI, you need the base piece for this. If you don't it's pretty much useless. You add another $30 piece to this and maybe a great product! I'll let you know when I buy the base!update: not happy with it at all. I would return it but I put a screw hole in it to try and Jerry rig something.

The Dr. Skim works, no more debris floating around in the skimmer. My pool seems to sparkle a little more. Emptying the skimmer is a process but other than that a great improve on debris removal.
