Stand
Wow, this stand is built like a tank! Lots of adjustments, very nice looking and compact. This is perfect as a snare drum stand or a practice pad stand. Very pleased with this purchase and I highly recommend it.

Excellent snare stand!
This is a very sturdy and stable stand such that I no longer even give it a thought. It adjusted well to my desired position and requires no further attention. Well crafted and sturdy, this stand should last as long as I need it!

really great hi hat stand
I've tried a lot of single braced hi hat stands, and this Pearl one is about the best I've tried. I used to think Pearl hardware was pretty junky, but it seems they've gotten much better with their newer products. It costs a bit more than other brands of similar make, but it's worth it. The swivel base, and adjustable tension make it a pro-quality stand.

Single Brace means less sturdy!
I assumed that sturdiness will be close to double brace, but that doesnt seem to be the case. This is not a problem specific to this product. Any single brace should have the same issue. Otherwise, the product itself is good, with the same large stem as the double brace.
