Legit Hardware. Solid tech support. Worth the upgrade. 2014 Ford F250 Platinum
This is mostly a seller review. Go to end for product review.Always a tough choice when looking at products with similar price points. This one was about $75 more than another one on amazon. However, the reviews on tech support sold me. Was contacted quickly to confirm my vin. Unit was delivered well ahead of projected timeline (I think it estimated 14-17 days and i got it in 6). When the unit showed up (USPS) I installed it quickly.Unit went in fine in about 10 minutes, all connections were solid and fitment was perfect. Display powered on and I was able to get Android Auto set up as well as my Bluetooth connection. I spent about ten minutes messing with settings and stuff and then got out of the truck (shut the ignition off). When I got back in the display wouldn't work. I could hear the radio, change media, see AA connecting to my phone and even hear the touch feedback when i pressed on the display, but no image. I contacted the seller through Amazon and got a message back with a number to call. From that point on I was working directly with a singular point of contact via voice and text. My next concern was that the seller might try to send out just a new display or find a way to blame me or the carrier for the problem. No such thing happened. He said it might be just the display but decided to send out a whole new system anyway. He also let me keep the portions of the install that I had done (usb hub and gps antenna) so that i wouldn't have to reinstall them. We talked on Thursday evening and on Saturday morning I got a text with confirmation that the new unit was programmed and shipped. It arrived Monday afternoon.Second time around went easier than the first and this time everything worked perfectly and has continued to do so.All in all a great experience. Good, solid product backed by the kind of seller you wish you could get at a service department at Ford.System review:If you're looking at this you probably already know the features. Good system, like the android auto. Not a fan of switching back and forth between screens when the phone is connected but you get used to it.Two huge pluses! + one small one that I love1. The ford navigation still works!? I don't know why I didn't' expect it to but it does. I was under the impression that the ford system wouldn't work but it does. I honestly got used to it with sync 2 and am happy it's there for when i don't want to connect my phone.2. When you are in the truck listening to the radio and have your phone connected via Bluetooth (not the cable) and you open up youtube or Instagram or any media with audio basically. The audio automatically outputs to the speakers. I HATED the fact that it wouldn't do that with the sync 2 system. If you know what I'm talking about then you will love it. If you don't then it won't matter anyway. The small plus: When you use the "seek" buttons on your steering wheel it still pages through your radio presets! I've heard a lot of people complain about that but I love it. If you know you know.GPS Antenna- I was a little thrown off by the GPS antenna because it has a Ford factory bracket which, if you've watched all the videos, is not normally included. It actually looked like it was made to fit the angle of the dash directly behind the head unit so that's where i originally installed it. However, when i reinstalled the new head I removed the two small screws that held the unit to the plate and put some new 3M plastic velcro tape and put it farther up under the dash so it would get a better signal through more of the glass. Otherwise, gps works great and doesn't seem to have any problem picking up the signal.I think if you're looking at keeping tech up to date, refreshing an older but nice truck, or you have a malfunction with your current system this is a no brainer. Basically, if you've come this far, go ahead and buy it.

Amazing
Got this back in August for my 2015 F150 and haven’t had any issue’s whatsoever. Works like the truck came with it from the factory. It was easy to install with no splicing of wires. All options my truck has continued to work as expected after install including the CD player, upgraded navigation and even the little button on the side of the seat that prompts the massage seat menu to pull up on the radio. CarPlay works great and the screen is really responsive and quick. I’m very happy with the purchase and believe the upgrade was worth it.

Must Have for Sync 2 Vehicles
This gets a 4 out of 5 for me, but this shouldn’t detract anyone from pulling the trigger on this! This headunit beats the old Sync 2 system in every way.Pros:- Factory fitment, just take the old unit out and this plugs right into the factory harnesses.- Apple CarPlay works as intended AND is the fastest responsive unit I’ve seen from the factory. I’ve used Honda, Toyota, VW, Audi, and Chevy’s system. All of them lag in some way and even has sound lag for some applications like YouTube. The responsiveness of this unit is a tier above the rest.- Navigation works well. I don’t know how you can get around using it while driving, but it works quick. Getting routes is easy.- Climate control works! The biggest issue I had was I didn’t want to sacrifice my cooling seats like with other systems. My seats are all digitally controlled and both work well.Cons:- The USB adapter that came with it doesn’t fit into the Lariat trim area. Mine is in the center console and had the old RCA inputs. I’ll have to make a jig for this just so nothing falls into the gaping hole.- Doesn’t include instructions so you’ll have to research how to remove your dash and the old headunit. If you’re not mechanically inclined, you can take this to a shop. Expect to pay about $200 additional dollars for installation.

Great product
Update: seller ended up getting in contact and sending the correct cable. 2 months in and no issue with product. Very pleased with end resultOriginal:I had high hopes for this Sync 3 upgrade from Stance Tuning. The product meets most expectations but there are some fixable drawbacks that unfortunately aren't being addressed.Pros: Seller was quick to reach out after purchase to get my VIN so they could program the unit to my truck features. Software and display itself works great and install was pretty simple after finding a YouTube instruction video. This actually added Navigation which my MFT/Sync2 did not have, which was nice. Display is clear, responsive and works with the factory backup camera. Sync 3 software works well. They did sent a OBD2 to USB adapter incase they needed to troubleshoot, which brings me to the negatives of this seller.Cons: After purchase, technical support was non-existent. No response to any message through Amazon and no telephone number provided to call for help. The USB hub wiring harness they sent isn't correct for my wiring harness installed by Ford. Because of this I haven't been able to use the Apple CarPlay feature which was the entire reason for purchasing this. Install instructions they provided are useless and you will need to find a YouTube video to show you all of the correct steps.Ultimately this gets a 1 star review (and returned) because it won't work and they aren't responsive to any issues.
