Works well with Smartthings as advertised. Was easy to pair and took just mins. I also like that it takes standard AA batteries, although that does make the size of the sensor bigger.My main issue with it is that since it is advertised to work with Smartthings, not all features are available. I only get motion and temperature readings in the app. Neither light nor tamper are available. Should be clear on the advert what features work with which hub, basically feel I got conned into a purchase. I would recommend the non pro on smartthings basicallyUpdate: After contacting Frient, they did update the listing to reflect this. I kept the sensor anyways, might come in handy if I switch to HA.

This is a good motion detector that I have linked to my Amazon Echo 4 with in built Zigbee hub.. I marked this down because I cannot access the light detection or properly access the temperature detection via Amazon. I can trigger routines though for the temperature e.g. warn me if temp drops below X degrees. I tried connecting this to a Tuya Zigbee hub via Smartlife to see if that gave me the extra functionality. Unfortunately I could not get it to connect (Smart Life could not detect the devbice in pairing mode). As a motion detector it is very good and battery life has also been bery good.

This motion/temperature/light sensor works great as additional sensor to the Home Assistant network. Connecting to the Zigbee network was easy. It shows all relevant data, and the lux even shows the correct values (compared to the Hue sensor which only shows max of 300 on a very sunny day).

But that's where it all goes. Downhill at least for me anyway.I found these sensors not to last very long. Sometimes some of them just lasted a matter of weeks. When the sensors are working they will drop reporting to your home assistant. The 3M tape is very very strong on these. It was enough to take the plaster off the ceilingWould I buy these again? No - there sensors out there for around the same money to Which in my opinion are more superior to this one.

I upgraded my Alexa to one with a Zigbee hub installed as Hive motion sensors don't work with it so bought this as a motion senor as I also wanted a light sensor to lights on when it got dark.The motion sensor and thermometer work but the light sensor doesn't which had been the main reason I got the more expensive version.Its a nice enough little senor and I think I expected too much and the failing is with Alexa
