I work for environmental services in a hospital Washington state for 16 years.I have been looking for products that actually do there job and are safe to use. And ultra chem products have done this. Alot of stores don't carry ultra chem products. Because then you won't need to buy any other 4 products for your house. So they won't sell any of there other products and they lose money.This soap is amazing it is certified green product. No dyes, no fragrance, no phosfates. You use 2pumps in your (HE) washer's and 3 if you don't have (HE) for large loads. And yes you will say, that cannot be enough. And yes it is!It is also a stain remover. I take a soft bristle tooth brush put a little on the end and rub it in the stain. Even those food grease spots that went through the dryer already. And come out beautiful. (You will not be disappointed.)You may notice that detergents like dishwasher and laundry soaps don't work like they use to. Because the phosphates that were in them, was what was used to clean with. Now they took that out do to the new laws to control phosphates from getting into the ground and oceans which is bad.So now that is why detergents don't clean as well. So they use other chemicals and you have to use double the amount to get things clean. When ultra white by chems labs solved that problem years ago. By using food grade acids and positive and negative ion technology to allow the dirt to be released.Try it you will never use anything else again.

This product is okay. I liked the ‘organic’ part, none of the bad stuff. I bought it because I was out of my favorite that I couldn’t get, ZUM frankincense and myrrh. It was okay but I would only buy it again if I couldn’t get ZUM

UPDATE: This is the best laundry detergent and I love it. I went back to an old brand and others and keep coming back to this. I have repurchased. I wanted to update my review.It does work to remove odors from undershirts. At first, I thought it didn't work, and that's the case if I just wash them in a regular load (same with any detergent). The trick is to rub a bit of detergent on the underarms before washing for a concentrated treatment. I've tried that with other treatments, even soaking the shirts in popular enzyme cleansers and it hasn't worked. But this works. I just wasn't using this in the best way for that issue. I also love it as a general detergent.For me, the weak part of this product is the pump. It's kind of awkward tilting this down at and angle and trying to pump it into my small laundry detergent holder. Also, every time I order it, I get a new one and that seems redundant. Once, I received one with a defective pump and every time I picked up the bottle, the detergent came flooding out the end of pump spout even though I hadn't touched the pump in any way. I still have a pile of this dried detergent on my washer where it came spilling out. It's much too pricey for that.I would love it if they sold a large container without the pump. I could either refill the smaller bottle or measure it out amount myself.----------------------------------I got this detergent first and foremost because it has no added fragrance. I have to use fragrance free detergents and it is nice to find a new one to try. There is a slight smell that reminds me of almond oil. I also love that it is a green and leaves out other harmful ingredients.The consistency is watery compared to other concentrated detergents. It comes with a pump. I have the pump on as tight as it will go, but detergent leaks out when tilt the bottle sideways. I remove the detergent cup from the washer and pump the solution directly into it.I also chose this because it said Ultra White Plus and I need something that can clean white shirts and sheets. I used three pumps for a medium load of white undershirts washed in hot water. The detergent didn't really make them whiter or remove very much of a spot of pasta sauce that had spilled on one of them. I tried again on some white sheets that has some areas that had turned ivory/beige, but didn't see an improvement in brightness. Maybe that is just too embedded at this point.As a bonus, I was hoping it would help remove odors from undershirts which seem to be so hard to get clean, even after one wear. I have tried every remedy, different detergents, vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, soaking for hours, everything and nothings gets the smell out of them. This didn't help either. Maybe it is ultimately my washer.I will keep using this bottle because it has a lot of great qualities and is fragrance free. I am still on the hunt for something that can save white undershirts.

I wish I could try this out with the appropriate measurement but the pump does not work at all. I tried to raise it up and it doesn't budge. There are minor flaws (cost, value, design, function) that don’t work for me. Would probably recommend for others.5 stars - Met or exceeded all my expectations and worked well with regards to function, design, and cost. I would purchase this again and would recommend it to everyone.
