Book was alright I guess. Did not answer questions that I had. I will have to watch some more videos

Looking at the description I thought this would be a pocket reference. Those can be hit and miss. So far this is more hit. I am also pleased share that it paid for itself in the first 10m of owning it. By helping me correct problems with a family photo that I thought would be a loss.I'd rank this as an essential reference book like my O'Reilly pocket guides for programming.

Scott Kelby books are the best. Right to the point, topics that you actually need, easy to find what you're looking for, full of goofy humor. I have several of the Kelby photoshop and photography books and love them all. This one is just as good as the rest and highly recommended.

I needed a book like this, because I learn better by reading and thinking than by internet-searching, video-watching, and then returning to the software. On the plus side-- the book is a well-organized and thorough resource.The thing is, I am a new user to Photoshop Elements 2020. The problem is-- as it so often is with new software-- that the features presented in the book's instructions do not match the software I am trying to work with. Sometimes I could uncover a similarity by testing all the choices; sometimes it appears that there was nothing like what the book describes.At page 30, I'm frustrated because the book is raising as many questions for me as it has resolved. I intend to keep trying a while longer, but it isn't easy.

Scott said this book was not made to be read from cover to cover but I did. I'm a former Elements user who recently upgrade to the big guy, so I understood how to do the basic. Just wanted to understand how Photoshop functioned. This book was perfect.

The absolutely best photo-shop book to purchase. He gives you direct straight to the point instructions with a lot of funny stories. He will tell you click the button the 3rd one from the left under the histogram. I love direction like that. I wouldn't recommend getting both of his book because they are basically the same thing. the red one just has more pictures and it looks better. This one is more direct, direction exactly what I needed. I can now understand the youtube videos and the language when talking about photoshop.

I think it is a good book as long as you have a more detailed Photoshop book to reinforce the information in this book. Some things do not need this reinforcement, but others need it. It definitely leads you in the right direction and this is important when you have less skills with the Photoshop program

Book is smaller than I expected 6"X 8", but it covers a lot of topics, in a brief but succinct manner. I will probably order the Lightroom version as well.

This is a fantastic book for anyone who uses Adobe Photoshop. When you need advice, you can quickly look up your topic in one of the 13 Chapters, find the page number and quickly get the help you need. I have bought many books on both Photoshop and Lightroom, and I wish that Scott had made this book years earlier as I could have saved my self a lot of time and money.Buy a copy, you will be glad you did.

Scott Kelby does it again! I have already purchased his book on Lightroom and both are exactly what the doctor ordered!!The books are very easy to follow and it is almost as if Scott Kelby is sitting next to you guiding you through. I cannot recommend highly enough for anyone wishing to get started with either Photoshop or Lightroom.

This book suits my workflow. When I can't do something in Ps I look it up here. Its almost like having a set of cards with specific questions answered.The format is easy to use and the pictures are sharp. Great value.

This is no use it you are starting ps from scratch,but excellant to dip into to supply instant remedies while editing. Like his style of writing,despite the terrible jokes!!

Haven't been using Photoshop for a couple of years, having at one time been very familiar with the app, this was a very painless way of getting back into it having forgotten so much in my absence.
