Bahco Fell

I used this splitter for 20 minutes. The weight of the ace head is good and it split logs well. Then the handle split, I hadn't realised and went to swing the axe. The handle shard of wood sliced right through the skin of my index finger. This resulted in a deep and bloody cut, which was in a frustrating place, which needed butterfly stitches and took a week to heal. Be very careful if you buy this axe, I feel let down by the quality and was surprised as Bacho is a good brand. Needless to say I returnedthe splitter for a refund.

great broke, but was from the grain in the wood making handle week, they replaced, so happy, would recommend, as replacement handle had straight grain.

I was very pleased with my axe, but after only 1/2 an hours use the handle split. So now not very happy and I am not sure who to go back to, to complain.

Excellent quality. Recommend if you are to use one regularly.

Under performs on bigger logs, had to buy a bigger maul axe
