Don’t understand the negative reviews
The remotes were easy to program and work exactly as they should. My only suggestion to anyone buying these remotes is to be sure you know your exact model. Wayne Dalton door openers have a wide array of MHz options depending on the model and when it was made. Mine operates at 303 MHz. While I was searching for these, most of the descriptions of The remotes had the MHz channel listed. All in all, this is a good product that operates as it should.

Five stars for J. Brown
The garage door opener works like a dream, but the directions are straight garbage! You have to scroll through the reviews and find J Brown's review because he lists out (all 11 steps) how to reprogram the garage door opener, so it can "learn" from your garage. I'm giving five stars to J Brown! Thanks!

Worked intermittently.
Programmed easily and worked well for a few button presses. Then worked intermittently after that. Reprogrammed again then one of the two worked intermittently and the other rarely opened the door. Recently replaced our opener so these are no longer needed.

Works as well as the original remote.
My husband had no problem with programming it. It works just fine, and I would not hesitate to buy this again if we need another one.

You must change the transmitter's code before programming the transmitter to the motor head unit.
After countless hour to research finally found the right instructions! Thanks me later after you try this on the model 3212 or 3213. The motorhead are so old, it's such pain in the button to program a new remote .Changing the Transmitter Code1. Press and hold the button on the transmitter that you want to change. The GREEN LED will flash once and then turn off.2. Continue to hold the button until the GREEN LED begins to flash (approx. 10 seconds).3. When the GREEN LED flashes, immediately release the button and then immediately press and hold the same button again. The GREEN LED will now come on steady.4. Continue to hold the button until the GREEN LED begins to flash (approx. 5 seconds).5. When the GREEN LED flashes, immediately release the button.6. The code for this button has now been changed to a new randomly generated code. Do not push the button again until instructed in "Programming Transmitter to Power Head Unit".7. You must now re-program this transmitter to the motor head unit. See "Programming Transmitter to Power Head Unit".Programming Transmitter to Power Head Unit1. Press the PROGRAM button located on the garage door motor head unit once. The PROGRAM STATUS light on the motor head unit will turn on and remain lit for one minute, indicating that it is ready to learn the Transmitter code.2. Press the same button on transmitter as you did in "Changing Transmitter's Code" above. The PROGRAM STATUS light will turn off indicating a successful learn.3. Press the same button on the Transmitter once more to operate the door.4. If you are unsuccessful in programming the transmitter to the motor head unit of if the button does not operate the door or if you wish to program another button to operate a different door, you must change the transmitter's code.BatteryIf the LED does not turn on when button is pressed, replace battery.

Instructions are worthless
Thx to J.Brown and Dan B. I must have tried 7 or 8 ways to program the remote based on posts by “experts “ on the internet with no success. The instructions and link to the web that were included were worthless. But I guess that’s the result of allowing third world countries to dominate the world market. Low quality junk

Not easy to program
Says very easy to program, NO, the 2” x 3” four line programming instructions simply did not work. Tried the remote.remote.co chat andexplained all what I had tried and was advised to replace the batteries. They were brand new batteries that came with th units. I was then asked if I wanted to return them. I then had my son come and try and after 45 minutes he lucked out by trying a double click in the process that worked. Very frustrating !!!!!

Need to program remote first
The instructions in package was not good enough. Someone in the review pointed me to more instructions. See picture. After programming remote. Then it worked. Works good now.Google quantum 3212 1 2 3 programming remote for the PDF1) keep button pushed down untill you see multiple flashes. Once you see them, release and immediately push down again until you see another set off flashes. Release and your remote is ready to pair with the opener.

Useless Instructions for Quantum 3212
The instructions for programming the remote with a Quantum 3212 did not work (as many other reviewers have stated). The remote must be reprogrammed before following the instructions. See the review by Sam below for complete instructions on how to do that. Once I followed Sam's instructions, the remote worked fine. (I spent an hour and a half watching videos, reading a variety of websites, and trying all of their suggestions, before I came to the Amazon reviews and eventually found Sam's review).
