Very nice
Love this coloring book. Nice pictures and easy to color with colored pencils, gel pens, and crayons.

An Overall Nice Book
The pictures are enough detail to be fun but not so much and so tiny that it's difficult. They are perfect for my eyes as they grow worse and for my granddaughter (9) that gets overwhelmed with her books that are full of tiny detail. I guess I'm saying it's great for old ladies and children. It's a large enough variety that there is something for everyone. The pages tear out nicely.

Boring
It has some very plain, boring pages. This one is nothing to write home about. It’s sequel is much better.

Pages to Frame and Markers Didn't Bleed
I bought this coloring book last week and like that it has three different themes within one book. The pages in the book are printed single side, size 8x10 so that they can be framed, and they're also perforated for easy removal. As a left handed colorist, I always like books that are spiral bound and that is what drew me to this book in the first place.I am surprised by the quality of the paper used for the pages. When I first flipped through the book, I didn't know if the paper was thick enough because I prefer to color with markers like, Pro Art Bullet Point Marker Set, 100-Pack and Stabilo 8830-1 88 Point 30 Color Wallet . To my surprise, the ink from both sets of markers did not bleed through to the back of the page. (I had a blotter behind each page while coloring, just in case.)I believe there are duplicate pictures, but with 192 pages and 95 Animals, Season, and Inspiration pictures to color - who am I to complain for considering this book is reasonably priced. The pictures vary from simple to extremely intricate which is good for a colorist that like a variety and colors based on their mood. You will see in my photos that I chose a fairly easy zebra stripe which didn’t take much concentration after a long day, then I select the elephant to color with fine tip markers and required me to focus on the lines.I did notice that the spiral binding on the side of the book was a pain. Many other books that I own are spiral bound at the top with perforated pages and the picture doesn’t extend to the binding. For me, the top binding is preferred because I am left handed and hate resting my arm on the binding because after a while it begins to hurt.Overall, I am pleased with the book. I removed one star for because the binding is on the side of the book rather than the top, the artwork extends into the spiral binding which makes it difficult to color the entire page, and if you leave the page in the book - it looks tacky because the page doesn’t look like it is finished.

Could have been better
There are a few pictures that are nothing but splotches of white in a black background, like an animal's fur, but nothing to actually color. Several pages in each "book" are just a repetitive pattern of the same item over and over. Like flip-flops, teapots, birds, etc... and none of the pictures are actually that challenging to color. But the pictures are also a little too detailed/small to make a good child's coloring book either. I'd say late elementary to junior high (middle school) age is fine. I flipped through it and I'm just sending it back. There are much better books out there.

Very underwhelming and definitely meant to children
From the other reviews, I was expecting much more from this colouring book. The paper quality is good, I like that it's single sided and spiral bound, but that's it. Most of the images to colour are very boring and I think would be far better aimed at children learning to colour. There's lots of pages where it's the same, very simple outline image, like a cat face or a duck, just over and over all over the page. Then there's lots of pages where it's mainly all black and the odd white image to colour in, like a phrase. I'm not at all inspired to colour anything in this book. The odd image that is a bit better has been terribly printed and part is missing, as it wasn't made to fit the page or even centralised. In fact, I've ripped out some of the worst pages (there was one that was just a zebra print all over the page) and used them to print on the other side, much more interesting images I got for free online.Unless you want realllllllly simple, repetitive images, I'd leave this one well alone.

Meh Paper, shutterstock art
I guess you get what you pay for, but this is only ok. The paper is almost, but not quite glossy and perhaps a little too smooth for pencil crayons. And the art is from Shutterstock, so some of it is underwhelming. It's fine, but not great.
