A truly compelling read
What a marvelous read. It has substance and all too much approaching plausibility. Keeler is a force to be reckoned with, and he finds his female equal in this one. It’s impossible to count the fallen but the horror they have wrought is unimaginable. Kudos to Mr. Lively for a compelling read.

The Gold Standard for genre (a…kicking) and Style
This book, which I consider to be the best of the series (they’re all excellent), is the gold standard for that rare combination of preferred genre and style. When I say preferred genre, for me, that is a…kicking action. Good vs Bad, Righteous vs Evil, Eye for an Eye. You need a great protagonist. They must be highly skilled at their art (y, same as genre), likable, and have some moral compass and values. Some… at least. Anyway, all boxes checked so far. Of course, need a great plot, with a story that flows, or rockets towards a conclusion. One that in the old days you’d almost rip the pages out to see what happens. Now you get kindle finger sloughing…. Particularly with this book. Finally, writing technique, so very important. The author’s descriptions, vocabulary, sentence structure, and style are elite and among the best I’ve seen. Rare qualities with any book. Even rarer w the take no prisoners crowd. That elevates this book to an A+ for me. Highly recommended.

fast paced
This book keeps you guessing. I hate that people go the extremes to manipulate people for financial gain. At first you could not figure out who was on which side.

Only good thing....
The only good thing about a series is that the reader knows from the beginning that the hero is not going to die. Another thing is that there will be adulterated sex just before or after some impossible violence. The bad thing is that few readers realize that they are being fleeced from their money.

Entertaining fast-paced read
Great story. Some novel elements. Interesting characters and a good plot. All in all very entertaining.

Breached (Tom Keeper #2)
We last saw Tom on his way out of France and it's almost two years and Tom is in Alaska working on a fishing boat where he's been for the last four months. They've finished cleaning up equipment, the boat, and everything is ready to sail to Seattle where Tom's supposed to meet the young woman he had departed by train to Southern France. But, as usual, Tom is asked to help find a missing brother who's been out of touch for weeks and his sister (supposedly) convinces Tom to stay in Alaska and help find her brother. The problem, others are looking for him too. They make the mistake of trying to stop Tom from completing that task, and Tom's flight or fight instinct kicks in and working with the local Tribal Police Chief, they become the aggressive ones and Tom knows it's success or death and he's rushing into action against what turns out to be Russian agents trying to recover the nuclear element off a lost Russian submarine without American authorities knowledge or discovery. Things don't go well for the Russian agents as Tom becomes the "Breacher." This isn't exactly a black ops, but it's what Tom's military skills call for and he's ready to be the last one standing.

Quite good
I read book one and three before Breached and enjoyed them both very much. Breached is also very good but I liked the others a little better.

Good action led plot
Yes, it's like Reacher, but nothing wrong with that. In some ways more a little more realistic and it represents a new face and slightly different ideas, and it is great to have another readable action book that is not dominated by American police or CIA etc. Setting is good and well used and all in all, a very good read.

Sentence structure is still pretty hard to read but I enjoyed the second in the series.
Keeler is a straight rip-off of Jack Reacher but I don't mind. Since the latest Reacher book, Reacher is no longer really himself so the world need someone like Keeler. There's definitely improvements on the first story but the author still needs to remove 3 of every 4 full stops and restructure sentences to improve the flow. Short sentences have a heavy impact. You can't write an entire book with them.Picture Miley Cyrus in the mid twenty-teens. A little twerking in a dance routine was different, it made a statement, people took notice. Then she tried to do an entire video where she did nothing but twerk. It was horrible, disjointed and it sucked. The author needs to drop the blatantly obvious Reacher plagiarism like an internal alarm clock waking him, the mother from France and stuff like that, it's pissing me off.I was interested in who the author was so checked out his IG, there's a Lee Child book in one of his images so we known or sure he's a Reacher fan.If the author keeps improving, I'll keep reading.Oh, pump-action shotguns akimbo is really stupid.

Military Veteran Tom Keeler minds his own business until he doesn't
I find the book fast and an easy read. While some of his challenges and fights are a bit of a stretch, the good guys win in the end. Those who follow Jack Reacher will enjoy these books

continues
A good read, continues from the first. Can see the Jack Reacher comparisons but this guy is air force, not army so totally different! You do feel the mystery solved through the book rather than just at the end
