Awesome trail shoes, fit just a little tight across the toes
The only thing that prevented me from rating 5 stars is that the shoes are very narrow across the toes- significantly more so than most other brands of running shoes. It's hard to run or walk comfortably for long periods when toes don't have enough room to spread out. I usually wear a size 7, medium width with no problems, but these shoes in the same size and width tend to pinch in the toes. Unfortunately the tightness is below where the laces are, so they are still tight in the toes regardless of how much I loosen the laces.Otherwise a stellar trail running shoe. The tightness in the toes isn't enough to discourage me from wearing them unless it's a very long run or walk, more than 5 miles. Firm support in the arch and also solid support around the heel. Socks stay put because there is very little movement or rubbing in the heel area. The soles are rugged and grippy, they handle trail running very well. For walking/running on pavement or treadmills, they are a little too rugged. On pavement the grippy-ness makes your steps very loud. On the treadmill, the soles grip a little too well- I've stumbled a couple times when the soles grabbed more than my old trainers. If you are looking specifically to trail run and not cross-train or multi-use, these are fantastic shoes. I'd say just beware of the narrow fit in the toes and either size up, get a wider width, or wear thinner socks for long runs.

1/2 size up
The color is great. The fit is good, but maybe would be better if I 1/2 sized up. I can fit in them but can't wear thicker socks. I put my own insoles in them for more comfort. The tongue on the shoe is a bit long but not a big deal to me. They are light and not clunky which is a plus. I'm going to use them to hike and am hopeful that they last. The soles look very grippy and I like that.

Great out of the box, no breaking in needed
Very stylish and comfy without the bulkiness that often comes with hiking shoes. I went half a size up and it fit pretty perfectly. I sprayed them with scotch guard as well and they kept pretty dry thru a rainy weekend. They lace easily and I wore them out of the box for three straight days of camping without any issues. If you prefer ankle socks like me, I’d definitely recommend wearing them with the type that have a lip on the back (like Nike Karrimore) because my Achilles started getting raw after a few hours of wearing them with regular ankle length socks. Otherwise they’re perfect and I plan on wearing them with future hikes.

The shoes fit good, a little narrow
I work for state Fish and Wildlife, so I do quite a bit of hiking and walking in rough terrain. The shoes fit good, a little narrow. Good grip. Have not hiked in them just yet (I've been sticking to my waterproof hikers), but they move good with my feet on long walks. Only took me 2 days to wear them in perfectly, which is good for now, but may mean they will wear out faster; remains to be seen. Good ventilation. However, as I live in the Pacific North West, I won't be wearing them once the rain starts. So far they're pretty good shoes. Look nice too, not too manly. As a woman in a male-dominated field, it is nice to have functional shoes that are not too girly or too manly.

Comfy right out of the box!
+ ProsComfy right out of the box-seriously. They feel more like tennis shoes than hiking shoes.I ordered half a size up and they fit perfect with a little extra room for thick socksNot too stiff on the bottom-I imagine they will be perfect for climbing slippery wet rocks- ConsNot waterproof. There are little screen type things to let air flow but also would let water in.Shoe laces are slippery. Definitely need to double knot these babies to keep them tied.

Good shoes for the price - order size up
This shoe is a good walking shoe and the arch and bend of the show was comfortable on day one but it does run small. I typically wear a women’s 11 or 11 1/2. I ordered the 12 and am very glad I did! The toe box is narrow for a hiking shoe. I’m fortunate to have a narrow foot.

I like them
So far I like the shoes. I ordered a half a size up from reading reviews and I think I would have been okay in my actual size of 9 but I don't like my toes rubbing so I'm happy with the purchase. They came on time and well packaged. I have not worn them on a hike yet but they are comfortable to just walk around in. I did attempt to do a workout (leg day) to break them in a bit but I wouldn't recommend them for this. My feet got sore after only 20 min - not sure if this is because they are new or if they are just not meant for that activity.

Pretty nice summer shoe
These are short for a size 12 but since they're going to be a summer hiker I can make them work with a thin sock. They could use a bit more arch support, but overall they are comfortable. A step above a walking shoe for easy hiking. I like the look of them!

Sole could be thicker
The sole isn't as thick as I would like due to the pain I get on the ball of my foot. I don't know of they will last that long bit they are very lightweight which is nice.

Great Hiker for the Price
These hikers were a little tight for the first while, but once they were broken in (about 4 km) they are very comfortable. Looking forward to many great hikes in these shoes.

Columbia women's Redmond Trail Shoe
I was very happy to find these shoes online as I had purchased these exact same shoes prior and could not find them in stores again. I work in healthcare and find the shoe bed so comfortable, they fit true to size, this shoe does not disappoint.
