They claim to be used to freeze in liquid then cool down a drink
I thought this was going to be for making ice (sword) pops. It couldn't be further from the truth. There is VERY LITTLE room around the Popsicles for liquid. They are made to be used mainly for big drink stirrers. They claim to be used to freeze in liquid then cool down a drink. Yes, a very small drink since you're not going to get much ice around them. I'm very disappointed.

Pretty much perfect
These were perfect for my Game of Thrones premiere party! I made them over about two weeks so that I would have enough. The other reviews are right that you need to be careful when bringing the tray to the freezer because its like a rubber. you should also have a technique removing them. I would actually place the tray in the freezer and then pour the water into the mold. To take the swords out, I would bend the mold slowly, especially by the handles, so that they wouldn't break. I did not break very many of them with this technique. I didn't use the sword handles because there are only five and I needed about 20 swords.I recommend these! They aren't super thick so I would make more than needed so that they are effective at chilling a drink.

Awesome
So far so good. I don't know why people that they are too flimsy for the freezer. It's stiff enough in all the right places. Probably because they are filling all the way to the top, which you don't want to do because water expands when freezing.

Kind of cool
The plastic swords are great for stirring. I probably use those more than the tray for ice. As others have mentioned, it is hard to fill the tray and I can't get all the swordsicles out of the tray without breaking some. Still fun though. I haven't tried it yet, but the tray could probably be used to make some chocolates. I'll have to give it a shot.

Fun...but not easy
Who doesn't want ice-swords?! These are hilarious to put in people's drinks and my husband and his friend a grand time goofing off with them.I would give 5 stars but it is very difficult to get the water to stay in the silicone tray. At first I thought that the tray should have been made from hard plastic, but that would have made it impossible to get the swords out in one piece. My recommendation is to get as much water in the tray as possible. You will lose at least half of it on your way to the freezer. Don't worry. Freeze it anyway. The next day, take it out and put more water on top. The ice half-swords will now give the tray a little more stability and you'll be able to make your way to the freezer without losing much water. The next day...enjoy your ice swords!

Ice and sword wont mix
They looked cool but for some reason the little swords end up freezing to the top of the ice. So i get cool shaped ice but no real stir functionality.
