A must-have for any hurricane/emergency kit.
I Prime ordered this RIGHT before hurricane Irma was going to hit. It got here the day before Irma arrived. It was great to be able to listen to the radio during the storm, and know when the eye was going to pass over. Also used this for radio for the 7 days I was out of power. Needs A LOT of cranking, but if you don't have anything else, and you need to conserve batteries, it is super handy. The light works great. Didn't try solar charger. Also you can't listen while you crank, as it affects the reception of the radio.

A good purchase
This small radio works great. I had cranked the radio after I received it in the mail, and now almost three months later it still held that charge. The best part was that the radio lasted more than two hours on that charge from a couple months back. It would have lasted longer, but I turned it off at that point. Also the light worked too. My main reason for getting this was to get a local station or two to stay updated during an emergency, and to have some kind of entertainment while the power is out. I won't be using this to charge any type of electronics, nor would be using this as a main flashlight. I have much better dedicated flashlights/lanterns and portable chargers for that task. But even if I didn't, I feel like I would be cranking this for a very long time in order to charge my phone. But its compact, holds it charge, found stations without the need of the antenna, battery free, and came in a bright color. This little radio met all my requirements. Hopefully they'll come out with some more colors. I want to get one for the cars, and to get each member of my family one.

Good exercise I guess
It sounded pretty good when I could hear it which was only as I continuously turned the handle..once I stopped it was deader than dead..would not hold any kind of a charge no matter how many times I read the instructions, had my partner read the instructions, phoned a neighbor to read me the instructions & also had my dog take a look at the instructions........ won't hold a charge ,bummer. Returned it.

A Very Neat Emergency Gadget
I am pleased with my purchase of this product. The flashlight feature is much brighter than my other small LED flashlights and has a very decent beam, The radio is easy to tune and change bands, and the multiple power options for being charged, being operated, charging it's own batteries, and charging a cell phone are very well thought out. The instructions did not include setting the time on the LED 24 hour clock, but was readily available at Amazon: under questions and answers. Simply, with the radio off, push the radio band button and hold until hour starts blinking then push the right/left arrow buttons to set the hour. Push the band button again and the minutes will then blink and again use the right/left arrows to set the minutes. When done push the band button once more and the time is set.

Very good reception on all frequencies
A lot smaller than I thought it would be. But it works out since I plan to carry it with me on hiking events. Very good reception on all frequencies, even the weather channel. Biggest down side to all of these NOAA radios, is they never come with just a standard USB port. All of them have to have an adapter to plug in a phone for charging. So not only do I have to not misplace my phone charging cable, I don't want to misplace this small cable either. This is the only reason for 4 stars. Everything else about the radio is just what I need.

Great features on this emergency radio
I did much research to find the right size, features, quality, and price point. Great features on this emergency radio. It is not too big to add to your emergency pack or store in your vehicle. It is can be powered by battery (solar cells recharges batteries), emergencies hand-crank will also charge batteries. Good frequency selectivity for AM/FM/NOAA stations. Five stars because it meets my requirement and is high quality. I recommend this radio to friends and family.

I bought this in Oct 2016 and used it once ...
I bought this in Oct 2016 and used it once for a few hours (Feb 2017) and it stopped working. It only displayed the clock and although the radio was on, nothing came out - in fact the radio was playing when it just stopped. Today, I tried to plug in the USB connector to charge it - maybe that would make it work. The USB plug receiver broke off inside the unit.....There isn't any warranty info posted so I guess I am out of luck.
