Enhanced Slide Safety for Mossberg 500 590 835 930 935 Shockwave Accessories

Installed this on my Mossburg 940 Pro. Took less than 5 minutes. Looks great and the purchase is much better than the stock slide.

Came a day early.Bought for a Newhaven 485T that was fully restored and had a plastic thumb slide that was hard to push on/off,especially when the birds were rising fast,This slide is aluminum with a raised ridge for your thumb to grip, easy on easy off. I really like the fact you cant open the bolt unless its in the safe position, A big plus as I plan to pass this 20ga down thru the family.

Used to replace on a 1983 police mossy 500.Old safety shattered.It’s a pain in the butt to install with the little BB and spring, but not too complicated. Just take your time and expect to drop a few F bombs.The safety feels good and works fine after installation.

The safety switch fit perfectly. Don't count on the instructions that come with the switch, but it's easy to figure out. It fit my Mossberg model 500. The original switch was made out of plastic and broke on me one day.

This safety makes it easier to use the safety on your shotgun.

The ball dentents on the new saftey is cut to deep and the ball does not slide once it's installed. Very tricky due to the ball is hard to keep in place. All that work to find out this saftey was a poor design. Installed old saftey back on the gun after fighting with it for over an hour.

The safety itself works fine and it comes with all the necessary tools, but boy if you don’t get the installation instructions exactly right, you are in for a good hour of frustration trying to take apart your shockwave and retrieve the tiny ball bearing from inside the body. Again the product works well and I would recommend not tightening the Allen screw all the way as this will make it easier to actuate.

This safety fits perfect and easy to install came with everything needed for installation.

Pretty nice upgrade, install was a bit difficult not mechanically but the small tiny bb and the spring under the original safety are very easy to lose. I dropped my bb, spring and even the screw metal parts into the hole of the safety location lmfao. Had to took the gun apart to find them. But once you have the steady hand it is pretty easy to install. Highly recommend to secure the gun on the work bench.

When I added my scope to the slug barrel it was hard to reset the safety. The added tang makes it easier on and off.

Nothing wrong with the product perfect. Does what it says.
