DO NOT BUY FROM ADAPTER OR DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!I purchased this power adapter for a worklight advertised in description to be compatible with. Upon plugging in the first of two identical lights, one of which was brand new but I had lost both power cords for, the charge light came on but then went off and was unresponsive. I tried the second light but the same thing happened. Neither light became hot to touch or appeared to have overheated or overcharged as it happened very quickly. The charge indicator lights no longer would come on and would not accept a charge. After many emails back and forth with Upbright and having returned the adapter for there inspection they refunded my money for the power adapter but refused to help with replacement of damaged lights, saying it must have been both of my lights being defective that caused the fault.

This is the worst product I have ever bought in amazon, if I could give no star I would do it. I bought this power adapter because my mother who has a CAT worklight lost its original charger, so I checked that this power adapter was compatible with the worklight. When I received it, Before give to her I test it in my worklight, that by the way was working perfectly before that. After 3 hours plug in the worklight did’t even turn on, so I decided to I tried with it is original charger but nothing happend . As a result my worklighht it is broken now , this charger ruined my worklight. So I want to know who is going to replace my worklight.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT...I HAD LOSTMY POWER CORD,AND BOUGHT THIS AS A RECOMMENDED REPLACEMENT....ONLY TWO POWER LEVEL LIGHTS WOULD COME ON, THEREFORE NOT COMPLETELY CHARGING MY LIGHT. I DEPLETED THE BATTERY, AND PLUGGED IT IN A SECONR TIME; ONY TWO CHARGE LEVEL LIGHTS CAME ON AGAIN, THEN “BAM”, EVERYTHING WENT DEAD!!!! LIGHT NO LONGER WORKS, AND PAST 30 DAYS FOR RETURN. PRODUCTS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!

Purchased product to charge the CAT work light. Plugged the charger in a live outlet and there was no voltage or current from the plug of the charger. Tested it with a voltmeter and it is dead. Attempting a return, but what I've seen from other reviews, not sure I'll get a satisfactory result from my return experience.

Unlike (and unmentioned) the original Cat® lite charger, this supposed direct replacement does Not have a charge condition indicator light.Oh well; should have asked that specific question I guess.
