Alfred's Basic Piano Library Theory 1 Complete

Okay
It has some terms in it that aren’t what we’d use for here in Canada. If you’re okay with writing in the different names (like naming a quarter note a quarter note), then it’s a good book.

Greatb book for adult beginner
I'm teaching my husband to play piano for the first time at 74 and he's doing great. This book is wonderful.

Great beginner book!
My 9 yr old son just started taking piano lessons. His instructor asked that we buy Alfred's Basic Piano Library Theory. After two lessons with use of this book, my son is really off to a good start.

A little disappointing but good for the price
So so. Too much identical to the notespeller for this level, but the addition problems wirh notes and rests are very clever and appealing, at least to me.

Great!
Alfred's basic piano series are just fantastic. I love using his series with my students. It offers such a complete and well-rounded knowledge into the piano theory. The presentation and development of theory is so well done.
