Works great
Building an outdoor kitchen of wood and wanted a little more safety , so bought firecheck and had it added to the latex paint I bought at Lowe’s . Went on great and followed instructions on installing 2 coats . Tested it out on scrape wood and work great . Added concrete durock where griddle and grill set for added protection. Great value for the money and looked great.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW...
very easy to mix into a gallon of paint. just make sure that the can has enough room for this stuff, because it's a good amount of liquid. you might have to do it at 1/2 a gallon at a time. anyhow, i watched the videos on people testing it... and it is some amazing stuff. mixed it with some flat black paint with no problems. GREAT PRODUCT, and i'm very glad i used it for my project. safety comes first, right? by the way, i called the company to ask question about whether it was a good choice for my project. they were more than happy to answer all of my questions. i prefer companies that are customer oriented, like that! i hope this information helps you to make the right decision.

Hot hot hot...but not.
We needed a solution for our storage shed to be cleared by the local fire marshal because it was within 10 feet of our home. The other solutions I found to fire-rate the shed were in the 1000s of dollars and it was a bit of a mind fudge. Then we found this amazing product, submitted it to the city that we'd add it to our paint and cover the wall closest to the home, and it was permitted after we submitted our plan. Thank you very much for offering an affordable and easy solution to a heated problem.

Super easy
I went to a popular painting store to get advice on how to protect a wall in my TV room that has heating units under the windows. Their instructions were to completely sand the existing paint and fix any damage prior to apply a new coat. I mixed this product (Fire Retardant) with less than 1 gallon of flat Sherwin Williams paint. The product made the paint more of a semi gloss appearance than flat and slightly darker in color, not noticeable unless you really compare to the other untreated wall. It is important to apply two layers and preferably on the same day for best results and you must paint the entire wall for better results and for the product to do its job. I hope never to find out if this product works but it does leave me with peace of mind when I run the heated wall units.

Well researched and tested
By the grace of God we have not had to test it ourselves in Wildfire conditions. However the fire retardant mixes well into acrylic paint and applies smoothly. It looks good after the paint dries, too.

Saw a demonstration of product. Need all precautions I can get where I live.

No llegaron las 8 onzas
El producto es para mezclarse con un galón de pintura.Quiere decir que si vino casi a la mitad y lo mezclo no tendrá la misma efectividad.

Customers feel safer
Tested the stuff myself it works! Just recently the community where I live suffered massive loss of homes do to wild fires, after finding Flamecheck and reviewing it with other product on the market Flamecheckappeared to be the best especially after testing it in two different test 1 with direct flame and 1 with intense heat and flamecheck proves itself and it gives my customers a better sense of safety so now there homes look new again with the exterior paint job and safer than they were before every one is excitedly pleased and the cost is justified
