What's not to love!? It's leather, good sized print for those of us who need the larger print, and written without all the thee's and thou's. If you don't read your Bible as often as you should, get this Bible and start reading everyday. God will prepare you for the things to come in this world and for eternity

Wonderful Bible

This was a gift for my husband. He loves it. It’s compact, larger print and has buffalo hide leather cover!

This is a great Bible! I love the quality feel of the Buffalo leather. The 11.5 pt comfort print is really nice, not too big and not too small, it is a very comfortable read. It has the words of Christ in red which is what I prefer. There are no cross references or concordance though. The paper is of good quality and bright white. All in all I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Incredible! Simply incredible! I own multiple premium Bibles and feel this is one of the best mid-range Bibles ever! 10/10 recommend!

For a Bible in this price range, this one is very very good. The buffalo skin cover is very soft, it’s perimeter stitched, edge lined and has a soft art gilding under the gold edge gilt. These are features usually reserved for premium Bibles at a much higher price. A few nits that I have are that it is not line matched, however I don’t notice ghosting through the pages very much, and I’d prefer a darker brown-red type if it has to be red letter. A larger complaint is the odd odor of the cover. It is probably due to however they processed the leather and I’m hoping in a few months it will dissipate. Still, I consider this Bible highly readable for my older eyes, and a bargain at this price. (I bought mine through another retailer and paid a bit more - doh!)Updating a couple of weeks later . . . Two items are better than I originally noted. First, the strong odor from the leather is now gone, and my comments on the lightness of the red letter portions of the gospels turned out to be an unknown, until now, partial red color blindness in my dominant eye. There is still a slight variation noticeable from one page to another but you likely won’t notice it unless looking for it. I am very pleased with this as my new reader.

The description lead me to believe this Bible was 6.5 inches wide and 9.5 inches tall. The box isn't that big. It turns out to be 6 by 9. That half inch is significant, since I need the larger size.The cover tore the first time out. It didn't contact anything sharp.The cover is a dingy brown, at least enough to make the gold gilt edging look brown.The paper feels thick (good), about like copy paper thick. But the color of newspaper paper. So, the contrast between paper and print is not good.

Not heavy to carry good quality should last a long time.
