Yes, my hair is both color-treated and highlighted and it is very gentle. No sulfates, parabens or other color stripping additives. My hair feels amazing!

Q: How long does this shampoo lasts for short to medium length hair ?

It seems to last a long time for me as a guy. My hair is medium in length. One tube shampooing daily lasts at least 6 weeks to 2 months.

Q: Is this product different than the peter thomas roth shampoo that is labeled nourshishing shampoo? if so, what's the difference?

I know what you're asking. I have one from 2014 or 2015 that is also available on AMAZON for $12.79. This one, for $14.75, is, I think, a newer version...not sure if it's better or different.
