Great pain relief for upper back tightness
I’ve had massive pain in my upper back and extreme tightness which is extremely discomforting for me and I felt hunched over and so stiff so I decided to order this and give it a try and I feel so much better the next day. I try to use it morning and night to relieve tension and it’s working.About 8 months ago I noticed a bump on my chest and got ultrasounds and mammograms that came up clear so my Doctor told me not to worry about it, after seeing other doctors who didn’t help me and doing my own research, I’m convinced I have costochondritis because it would bring me pain to sneeze or cough and has made my upper back extremely tight and uncomfortable. I also have scoliosis and work a desk job which doesn’t help my back but this pod has relieved that pain immensely and I plan to continue to use it to feel even better.

I wish I had bought this long ago!
This is a great product. I saw results after the first use. Nearly all of my neck/back pain is gone.

Works, but you can make your own for cheap
It works. From someone who has been dealing with costochronditis and tietze syndrome off and on for about a decade, this thing is a god send. That said, it's overpriced and can easily be made from items in your home. If you're in pain right now (and have ruled out heart attack, etc) then you can open your sock drawer and fold about 4-8 pairs of socks onto each other to make a big oblong football type shape. It's softer than this product, but it gets the job done just as well. Possibly even better. Lay on it between shoulder blades on the spine (of not too painful) and to right and left of the spine. Have pillows to prop head up and remove them one by one as needed for a deep stretch while still remaining comfortable. This is not medical advice, just retelling my personal experience. You could also experiment with a sports cup covered in a towel or pillow. But I've found that socks work best.

Good product.
Saw this product on Bob & Brad YouTube video. Works great and easy to use. It is worth the money. Imagine that it will last a very long time even with a lot of use. Good quality product.

Quality product
Exactly as pictured and yes it is on the harder side but from what I have read is needed for proper use and function of the product. Easy to use and a good value for your money compared to the more expensive brand.

Not effective
Have been using this daily but I haven't not felt any improvement. Seems to just give me soreness wherever I put it, on my back. Very very expensive to get no positive results. I'm going to take it to my doctor and physical therapist and see what they advise. I'm out a good chunk of money and still no relief.

Get this one. I've tested the original.
Trust me when I tell you this is exactly like the original version. I compared them both side by side. The hard plastic part is identical and the same strength. There is only a slight difference in the density of the green part, and I mean, only slight. The original-branded one (Backpod) is very hard and may look used upon close inspection (like mine did). This version has a nicer feel to the green part and it looks more durable in comparison, as if it won't crack and break apart over the years. I used it last night for some myofascial release and it really has helped me release pain and tension. It wasn’t designed for scoliosis per se, but I have found pain relief. This pod is still very firm and doesn't bend in on itself. I'm a heavy gal and put a lot of weight on it. You will be saving yourself money going with this one, but if you absolutely need a rock, go with the original.
