SUCH a gem! I hate kids books that have poor quality inaccurate info, like a poor medical tv show. This book has great info and detail. I am so happy with this purchase.

Yes the illustrations are great and the content is interesting, however it's not written in a style that engages children. It's one of these books you want your children to like but they just don't. Mine barely looked at it. Returned.

This is a great book for children of all ages who want to learn where our food comes from.

This may be the only farm book you need to teach your kids about the farm. Now if you your kid is super into farms, you may need a more in depth book, but for your average kid getting first exposure to farms, this is basically perfect. Not to mention the illustrations are absolutely beautiful.

This was a book purchased for use during summer elementary school aged children's classes. I book marked sections that went along with each specific days tour. It's definitely not a sit down and read the entire book at once type of book. Reading this book in sections was necessary to keep the children from feeling overwhelmed by the quantity of information.
