Blackmagic DesignDavinci Resolve Speed Editor (DV/RES/BBPNLMLEKA) Editor Only

Love this unit. It just works and I didn't have to do anything special. Fire up DaVinci Resolve and it sees the Speed Editor and happy editing I go ... love technology that allows me to focus on content rather than the technology.The wheel motion is very smooth and solid and accurate. If I have one complaint is that I wish all the button text were backlight ... some of the buttons have an small red LED which helps a little, but often find myself in a dark room when editing so backlight text would be helpful (at least until I have the surface memorized).

The editor is worthwhile in its own right. The dedicated keys for editing and the wheel for navigating your video greatly speed up your workflow.But the pricing for Davinci Resolve make it a no-brainer: $360 for the software alone or $390 for the software package plus the hardware editor.

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! If there is one thing this keyboard can do that I like is allow you precision/pinpoint movement of your timeline. That alone is worth it especially when you are trying to move at frame levels. Aside from that, it does speed up the editing process especially when in the cut page. I recommend that you attend YouTube University to get a better understanding on how best to take advantage of this product and learn its application in the cut page as it is only as good as your understanding of how to use it. My only wish is that Blackmagic didn't lock it and it could work with other software. Highly recommend.

I only bought this because I wanted to get the Davinci Resolve Studio version. It is usually included with the purchase of any Black magic keyboards or cameras. This listing is misleading and should be made a lot more clear that it does not include the software. Especially because this keyboard was sold for this price with the software included until they very recently put the price up. I am very disappointed. Please make the listing more clear.

It an official BMD Speed Editor. Works great so far. Came with the usb-c cord. Has bluetooth.Best of all it came with a studio activation key. I was not expecting that. An additional $200 value for free. W.

Can't believe I got my hands on one it was on back order everywhere, solid build quality, the wheel is pin point accurate, I wish thst it was more compatible in edit mode but I knew that before I purchased it

Want to edit like a pro, without having to learn all the keystrokes. I was able to put this to use immediately and it has made editing fun.

I should have just bought the davinci resolve activation key by itself. The speed editor is cool and works well for what it's intended, but has trouble connecting most of the time. It's a big enough issue, that I can't really learn to use it well because I spend most of my time just trying to get it to work, often don't succeed. I'm really bummed about this purchase.
