Q: Would this work on a yorkshire terrier?

You need the chamber to cover mouth completely to get the benefit I’ve got Bichon Frise and it definitely wouldn’t cover their mouth

This product is only the spacer device with child mask. It does not come with Inhaler as it will be prescribed by doctors. This spacer device is compatible with majorly of inhalers available in market .

Q: What size is the mask? Will it fit over nose and mouth of a 5 yr old child?

It depends how big your child is. My boy is 4,5 yo and is just right on him. He's quite petite though.
