Wolfe F/X 6 Color Palette - Monster

This year I had the brilliant idea to do skull face paint for Halloween. This was the only palette with the colors I needed that wasn't already sold out. I'm actually pretty happy with what I received. The paint is very easy to apply, and after wearing it for several hours, it didn't smear or crack. I was disappointed at first with how small the cakes are, but a little goes a long way. I completely coated my face in the orc color for two nights in a row, and there's still plenty left.The colors are darker than they appear in the product photos. The white color is actually grey, and according to the package, it's one of colors in the palette that cannot be used on your lips (along with the pale yellow and bruise colors).I will definitely buy Wolfe face paint again, though probably well in advance next time.

Great face paint. For those who aren't familiar with this paint it is not creamy and you use it with water to mix/activate. The colors are quite strong and you have control as to how opaque you will like to apply it depending on how much water you use. Also, you must work fast using this paint since it is quick drying and it may take a bit of practice to get use to. I used it over latex to transform my son to a mummy and the colors worked perfect. I also used for a werewolf transformation. After being all hyped up on candy they had a sugar crash and slept in it all night. When they woke up they still had it on. It didn't get on their pillow cases, they had no allergic reactions and didn't even notice they were still wearing make up. I did use a makeup setter since I always use one.

You pay a bit but boy is it worth it! These have amazing pigmentation that doesn't crease or fade and wears all day. I worked at the Sonic Drive-In serving food and skating with this makeup on Halloween night. 12 hours and I still looked scary. The colors are perfect for a dark and terrifying look. Lots of good colors for skulls and skeletons, as well as other things. It's good if you want to save time on mixing colors to get something in between. I also barely used any of the product, and I think this palette will last for a long time. It is good if you have some experience face painting as well, because the palette is a bit higher quality and you pay a bit more for it as well.

Over a year later and the pallet is still almost full, it’s like no matter how much you use the product it’s still there 😍 plus it is extremely pigmented and it is so easy to use

This produt is great for people who excel in water colour. Easy to use and very pigmented colours. Each colour pops out of the tray for easier use. One drop of water will go alonng way with these paints. The downside to this product is that the package arrived with a crack in the case. However the paint were not affected.

This is the first water activated face paint I've ever purchased and I loved it. I'm just starting out with Special Effects makeup and found it was very useful. I only had alcohol activated before which isn't safe in certain areas. Each color has an individual lid so you can protect colors that aren't in use. They can also pop out to be replaced. The only negative I have is that I wish the colors were named somewhere on the pallet. But it's a really great product.

These were my very first SFX paints and they worked very well, long lasting and so many uses from it. It may look small but you get a lot of uses from it.

It's been almost 3 years since I made this purchase and I definitely stand by it. This palette is awesome. The colors are easy to manipulate and blend. They dry fast. And intensity doesn't fade!
