Great controller...for about four months, then randomly malfunctioned
My controller is currently sitting in pieces on my desk as I've spent the past hour and a half trying to get it to work properly again.I've had it for about four months now and it's been great during all that time, in fact I was gaming with it just this morning before work and it was functioning perfectly. However when I came home and tried to pick up where I left off I found the right thumb stick having some major drifting going on that it was making the game camera spin in rapid circles, and scroll through menus at lighting speed.I've tried to clean it with alcohol, and open it up to dust it out, however I found that the electronic components are soldered to the face plate instead of the back making it imposable to access the thumb stick modals to properly clean them.Really upset it malfunctioned so suddenly out of the blue but before that I really liked this controller.Edit,So I'm going to have to bump my score up to three stars from two as a few hours after leaving this review the controller started working again as suddenly as it quite. of coarse by then I'd all ready purchased a replacement. Fact is this is a very good controller for the price as long as its working but that doesn't seem to reliable at this time.

Excellent value
While this controller definitely feels cheaper than standard xbox controllers and especially my Elite 2 controller, it's less than half the price of a standard, and 1/5 the price of the new Elite 2 core controller. I've had my original Elite 2 controller for 1.5 to 2 years, and the stick drift has become horrible. I feel like you're likely to get stick drift at some point with any controller, so might as well go cheap and just replace it every 6 months or so if needed. The back paddles are just gravy, and work quite well. Overall, the best value controller I have ever found. While not perfect, I give 5 stars as you can't really expect anything better for $25

Works great for pc casual gamers
Some pc games I enjoy a controller. I ordered one back in March and it still works fine. I see a lot of people saying the buttons get stuck and stick drift. I can see this happening to hardcore games who will aggressively use remotes. I hardly play competitive games where I’m forced to press buttons fast so for me, it’s still working fine without issues. This controller might be for casual gamers or those who will use this remote less often to preserve longevity. I’ll update my review if anything occurs

Faulty for the price, not a satisfying product.
This is the third of this controller specifically that is faulty on arrival. The left joystick again feels like it's on its last legs when new out of the box. It's always the left joystick, the right side feels solid and fine. It's frustrating that even though it's supposed to be new it just feels like a novice refurbished controller. The controller in the best case will have a life span of 6 months, afterwards it will be critically failing and in need of replacement. Realistically it's bad-from-the-start to 2-3 months. What always goes first is the left joystick, then the bumpers. Controller #2 had Left joystick die, both bumpers, left trigger, and the Xbox guide button become unresponsive. When these controllers start to fail it's best to deal with it swiftly. You can experience problems day one or as late as the second month. But they will degrade quickly even with the best of care and handling you do as you use it.This controller brand new out of the box has a loose feeling left joystick, flimsy left bumper and right trigger. And the audio jack is severely wrong. It makes you sound like your talking through a static-popping tin can from down the hallway with the headset quality from Xbox back in 2007.Frustratingly disappointing, I will be going through the refund/replacement process immediately after this review to either have this controller replaced or to get a refund. Maybe 4th time's the charm? If replacement and that one is bad too then this will be the last Power A product I buy. Their quality has severely dropped over the years while creeping the price up. They used to be a cost-effective alternative to the main controller, now too many corners have been cut, losing the value they once provided. My recommendation? Skip Power A and save up for the main Microsoft controller and get a warranty if you can. Sure they cost twice as much, but at least they aren't busted coming brand new out of the box.

Definitely a CHEAPER option than the elite.
-For a $25ish controller I was skeptical at first, but after using it daily for the past week I am pleased with this purchase. I owned a xbox elite controller for 3 years and finally gave out so I tried this and have recommended to everyone I play with.UPDATE ** After 3 months of playing the right analog stick has gone out! Was still happy with the controller but wished I got more than 3 months for $25You get what you pay for!!I hope the people I recommended didn’t purchase lol
