It works great so far. I love the cleaner that it comes with. It makes it very simple and quick for clean up. The chopper seems a little flimsy. Time will tell how long it lasts but so far (and its been about 2 months) it works great.I received this item at a discount in return I am leaving my unbiased review.

Initially, I wasn't very impressed when I received this kit. My family did some big time researching into garlic presses and I've seen some fancy ones, but I personally wouldn't spend $40+ for a garlic press. It took some practice to use the garlic mat. I HATE pealing the skin off of garlic cloves, so I was really hoping this would work. You roll up your clove and apply some pressure when rolling it, and it really works!Next I tried the garlic press. It is lighter than I expected, and I have arthritis in my hands, so I was worried that it would require too much pressure to use. It worked well for me. Once I got it moving, the garlic pressed through easily. There is a big sticker reminding you not to put the press in the dishwasher, and I was dreading trying to clean it up. I used the included red cleaning "comb" and it worked perfectly! (it pushes the stuck garlic from the outside back in so it can be rinsed out. It doesn't go inside to out, it doesn't fit that way.) I just needed to rinse the press and It was clean. And the best part! The cleaning tool fits perfectly in the press holes and kind of locks in place so you can store them together! You can't loose the cleaning tool!Finally, the metal "soap" really works. My husband was putting the garlic directly onto shrimp and had quite a stench on his hands. The odor was completely gone after using the "soap." And it's a nice size so I can keep it under the regular soap in the soap dish.I was given an offer to receive this set at a discount in exchange for my review. Like I said, I was initially underwhelmed when I received it, but it really won me over. We are going to use this every week, and there won't be any more sticky stinky fingers. I don't know why I waited so long to get a garlic press!

This is my first time using a garlic press and I am pleasantly surprised with the huge taste difference! Usually when I am adding fresh garlic (for example to my homemade chicken broth), I will mince a couple of cloves and throw them into the pot along with some Braggs Liquid Aminos and enjoy a tasty hot drink. With my new Kitchen Gem Garlic Press, I added a couple of cloves and my broth never tasted so good! The garlic flavor was so much more than I ever got from mincing a fresh clove or adding pre-minced garlic from the store. I also decided, just for the fun of it, to see what would happen if I crushed some fresh ginger to add to my (already infused with ginger) water. As I was pressing the ginger I could see liquid ginger dripping into my bottle, I added the remaining ginger in the press and took a drink...really good! Also included with the purchase is a garlic peeler and an odor remover bar ~ great deal! This set is definitely a keeper!I was able to purchase this product at a reduced rate in order to try it out and give a fair review. Thank you Kitchen Gems!

Great kit to handle Garlic. All you need more is garlic. All the 3 products works as described.Garlic peeler. - Such simple tool works great. very easy to peel the garlic skins even my 3 year daughter is able to do it.Garlic Press - Works nice. Gives the full flavor of Garlic. I used to chop the garlic. Instead I can use this with single press.Oder remover - Tried after using garlic. It works. Need to try with other Oder.
