Very good for the price.
I don't have the perfect pushup for comparison, but it seems to work the same way. The turning motion is smooth and the plastic is strong enough for me (150lbs). Despite being a little elevated due to the handles, I could only do the same number of pushups on them as doing them the old fashioned way. The turning motion works on your muscles more I reckon. The grips are rubber covered but not squishy (you don't want squishy anyway). There are only a few rubber dots on the bottom for grip, which may be a problem for use on uneven surfaces. It works fine on carpet and vinyl flooring.Overall, it's functional and a fun toy to have when you get bored doing regular pushups. Not essential for a good pushup plan (you can get conventional pushup bars for half the price) but it's a good reward tool for when you reach your fitness milestones. I wouldn't bother with the more expensive pushup handles. This one does the job well and it's fun to have to put some excitement back into your workout plan.

A Good Product
I really like this product. Through years of martial arts training, and breaking my left wrist, I have a problem doing push ups off the floor with my hands only, due to stiffness in my joints and pain. Enter the Push Up Pro. I can do my push ups free from joint pain and even better, I get a full range of motion by using this work out tool making my push ups more productive. The Push Up Pro has non-slip tabs on the bottom of them, so you could use them on a hard wood floor or linoleum if you wanted to. I prefer to use them on my work out mat, though. The handles on these are hard plastic and will not budge under my 200 lbs of weight and I don't think they ever will. There is no padding on the handles, which might be a problem for those who have sensitive palms. I don't mind the hardness and prefer it.The ball bearings in these are smooth and allow for positioning the hands on the fly while doing your push ups.I gave this four stars because the only thing I don't like about these is I wish they would give a little more height off of the floor allowing for a deeper range of motion if I wanted it.

Excellent...
These push-up bars are great! I think push-ups are a great total body work out, and I have used various bars and methods to try and get the best results (normal bars, dumbells, fists, palms). When I do push-ups with these rotating bars, I can feel it in my chest, shoulders, tris and back, depending on the type of push up.As for the quality, I think these are fantastic. The grip is comfortable and firm with enough grip to make your hands not slip, but not too much where it rubs your hand raw or even starts to flake off on you. The rotating is very smooth, and works on normal carpet (I thought it would only work on short carpet or other hard surfaces.Overall, these bars are fantastic, especially for the money. They also are smaller (I believe) than other rotating push up bars, and I was able to fit them into an small dufflebag for a 2 night trip (with other shoes, clothes, etc.) without any problems. I highly recommend these bars - they work well with P90X, too.

Good motivation
I bought this product few months ago and to be honest, I only used it about 3 or 4 times before I threw it in a corner to collect dust. it Just felt weird and uncomfortable to use and the device kept slipping forward. I could only do about 5 or 10 push ups before I had to quit. The product seems to be very well made and I doubt it would break under normal use and the slipping problem could be fixed easily enough.Only reason Why I give this product a 3 star rating instead of a 1 star is simply because this product ended up motivating me to start doing push ups every day. I've been doing 20 push ups twice a day for the past two and a half months now and just started doing 25 push ups 2x a day. I'm getting stronger everyday and I owe it to this product...not that I USE this product at all but it did motivate me and I think that deserves a decent rating...In a way I got more than what I paid for.

Excellent Tool for people with wrist pain
I am a tennis player and big time into fitness. I suffer from chronic wrist pain due to a TFCC injury I suffered. As a result I couldn't do regular push ups with my palms directly on ground. After searching through a series of home workout push up handles, I decided to give these ones a try & I am glad I did. These a made of quality material & don't have cheap cushion foam to it (which wear away after a while). I followed the instruction on the booklet on how to do pushups & it took me a workout to get set to it. The rotation movement works really good on your triceps and shoulder apart from your chest muscles. I could see more ripped triceps in 4 weeks time. I will highly recommend this product for people who suffer any kind of wrist pain. It is priced very reasonably on amazon.

Cheap plastic knockoff compared to Perfect Pushup
I had a Perfect Pushup model from 2009 that I used quite a bit. Over time they wore out, one of the handles on the PP started giving way too much resistance, so I bought this as it seemed like an adequate cheap replacement. The old Perfect Pushup (which I believe is no longer being made) gave a smooth frictionless motion. It rotated as if the internal mechanism was an oiled metal bearing. This Iron Gym device gives a cheap plastic rotation. I don't weigh much, but I can feel plastic-on-plastic spastic jerking as I use them. I'm afraid it might even cause injury if you're not careful. I cannot recommend this when the current PP is only $10 more, this equipment is vastly inferior to the PP I bought in 2009.

GET SWOLL BRO
I saw a couple different variants for these rotating push up bars. Went for these as they were the cheapest. They don't rotate in a completely smooth manner but for the price I didn't expect them too. The results are the most important factor with exercise tools and I have to say that these definitely deliver. If you stick with it you will see a large amount of growth and definition not only to your chest but your shoulders and upper back as well.I use these in combination with the Iron Gym pull up bar and the Iron Gym ab wheel. This company makes solid, cheap exercise tools which work, so long as you work them.GET SWOLL
