Fun!
This was a birthday present for our teenage son. I’m not sure who likes it more, him or his dad! Well made product. Zippy little cart! . My husband said it was easy to assemble. Been driving it around for weeks and no issues at all. Arrived on time and in perfect shape. Highly recommended!

Grandson loves it.
Came in very well package had a metal frame around it. Very easy to put together just a few tools. Instruction book almost useless but did have torque spec's I also used loc tight. Only negative the ground wire to the kill switch was not crimped but a easy fix. Getting the motor to fire up the first time was a turd but after that it fires up very easy. The biggest thrill was the grandson face when the cover was pulled off of it. Priceless...... As for long term quality jury still out, I am sure he will hit every thing in the yard at one time or another. Future updates will be postedUpdated 04/21/2024 The drive chain will stretch and loosen up you can adjust it by the mounting bolts on the engine block. The motor is now broken in and starts on the first or second pull. I would recommend buying a back up chain and clutch they will be the weakest parts but they are not that expenisive and a chain breaker is a must as well.Update 11/18/2024 Still going strong still fires on the first or second pull. Grandson ran over a thorny locust branch all the tires went flat. I mixed super glue with baking soda covered the holes good as new again still holding air. You have to stay on top of the chain or it will throw chains off the spocket. The Tires are not the best if you get anything bigger than a small puncture you will need a new tire.

Truthful review
You have to put together this kart which isn't really hard. You have to put on tires, steering wheel, roll bar, front bumper and attach shocks. All nuts and bolts are either zip tied by where they have to go or in the unattached item you need to install. I recommend if you see a bolt that you didn't install check it because it's probably barely hand tight. After I installed everything and checked every bolt to make sure everything was tight. I checked the oil level. The oil level was not correct. It barely touched the dip stick. I added oil and fuel and proceeded to start it. It fired up after a bunch of pulls as expected because it's gotta get the fuel through the lines. Once it started kids rode it for a few hours and no problems. One thing you will have to do is constantly check to make sure cables for throttle and brake are adjusted properly. One day riding it and I had to adjust the throttle cable. If you are not mechanically minded you may need to think twice about buying this. If you are knowledgeable about these things you aren't going to care because you will do everything I said anyways. It's worth the money and the kids love it. It's got good speed and I have the throttle turned down to half.

This thing is amazing.
Talk about speed, keeps up with my bigger kids 6.5hp gokart and off the line it snaps hard, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE COLMANS SK100, this mototec mud monster is the masterpiecePutting it together is simple. Always check all boltsAnd check again after running, I didn't have any loose tho. My 6 yr fits good in itLet talk performance. This thing rips.Definitely out preforms it competitors "sk-100 doesn't stand a chance." I took it for a spin 155lbs and pulled me around in speed.Durability topic. It definitely built to last very Durable

Terrible product and costumer service!
The media could not be loaded. We ordered a red and blue one SO TWO GO KARTS from them back in September because I was worried about the supply chain and being able to get items for Christmas. We just put them together the beginning of the week of Christmas and the blue one ran for about 2 hours total and the axle broke and the bearing is like melted. Well one day later the red did the SAME THING. I tried to seek help from the seller and because it was “past the 30 day mark” they were not willing to help AT ALL. We don’t want to return it now that they are put together...and my husband can fix them, but that’s not the point at all. They could offer to send new bearings or a partial refund to help cover the cost. I hope you read this review and chose a different brand go kart, I have two sad boys.

Need to be mechanically inclined but they are fun.
I bought 2 of these for my boys (7 and 10) upon receiving like the other ones, one of the crates was bent. Cart was not damaged though, also had bolts rolling around in the box. Simple assembly took about hour and a half to do both. I replaced the shipping oil in the engine with Honda oil, ran a tank of fuel through and then changed the oil again. The engines would randomly die and the clutch engages a bit low in the rpm. Also had one throttle cable pop loose. I modified the clutches and after a few tanks of fuel and replacing the spark plug they seem to run better now. They are a little weak on power. I plan to convert 1 to a 212 predator with a max torque clutch and see how it holds up. Will report back.

Great go cart!!!
I brought this go cart in August for my grandson's 8th birthday. He has been riding it daily for a month. We have 4 acres to ride on and his dad takes him out on blm land trails and follows him in his utv. The go cart has gotten a lot of miles on it without any problems. The oil has been changed and the chain tightened, but that is all.Update in November: The rear bearings fell apart, so I bought better ones at an auto parts store. The clutch went out on the gocart, but Mototec replaced it because it is still under warranty. BUT... I had to pay $18 for shipping. Now the rear tires have failed. First, one got a leak, then the other one got a big bulge in it. I've purchased heavier duty new tires for it. My grandson still loves his gocart. It has required some upgrades, but it is still a nice gocart. My grandson is now 11 years old and still rides his go-cart. He fits a bit snug now. The brake master cylinder failed recently, but we bought a new one and it is now fine. It also lost some steering bolts but was also fixable.
