Loving this knife not disappointed looks great and feels great in hand. This came sharpened,ready to go. The blade is beautiful. I really respect the craftsmanship of the 12” blade.

I own several Perkins and this one is by far my favorite. Yes it is BIG but it fits the hand good and is well balanced for it's size. The damascus on this blade is beautiful. It is by no means fake or "laser etched". Also it came razor sharp out of the box with even grind lines. I would definitely recommend any knife from perkin

Bizarrement, je m'en sers comme couteau de cuisine. Je peux faire des rondelles d'oignon d'un millimètre tellement il coupe précis. Ou couper mes steaks comme il faut.

I love knives and swords. I have had a whole lot over the years, mostly for hunting, fishing, sailing. I love craftsmanship. This is a beauty. A piece of beautiful workmanship. Unlike any other knife I’ve had. So thankful. Such a delight.

E' vero damasco. Anche se il pattern non è come da foto ma più casuale. E' acciaio al carbonio, quindi va mantenuto. Non è di una gran durezza ma fa il suo lavoro sul legno e si riarrota con facilità. Trovo il design molto piacevole e il manico parte in legno (di ciliegio?) parte in osso vero è piacevole. La lama è spessa 4 mm. Il fodero non è male. Vero cuoio con passante per cintura sottile ma robusto. Mi aspettavo di doverlo rifare, ma lo ritengo accettabile. Nel complesso è un bel gioco per chi vuole togliersi lo sfizio di un coltello in damasco funzionale ma senza grosse pretese (e comunque ad un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo)
