Works well, easy to upgrade
It is faster than I expected it to be. I did change to 16g RAM and a 1 TB M.2 SATA drive. So far, it's working great for normal office/home tasks - MS365, surfing, videos, etc. The USB and Displayport video connections do need active adapters, not just cables. They reduced the price by $30 the day after I ordered. Since it's not sold by Amazon, it was more trouble that it was worth to get a refund of that. But that is not a product review, more a purchase/company review.

Decent, neat and quiet, wish it could be more powerful
Spent less than 10 minutes to install an additional 4G memory. Set up/upgrade took more than 30 minutes, but that's fine. Wifi works out of box (unlike someone mentioned that it would not work until after upgrade). Extremely easy to vesa-mount it on my monitor. The whole setup looks very neat.Running Windows is decently smooth. But having glitches in video/audio playing the first few seconds of Youtube or Netflix, after that, it is fine. Bluetooth and ethernet work as expected. I also use USB-C to power up the box, no problem at all. Fan is quiet enough. In all, very satisfied with the purchase. Only wish is that the CPU could be more powerful.

Using as a Home Assistant server
I've been using this to run Home Assistant OS for several months now. Works great, no issues.

Unreliable Minix
Four years later, after light usage, and now no video output. Unit is alive, blue power light comes on and it responds to keyboard input, but it is effectively a brick with no video output.

Decent System - Warranty Was Problematic
***Update***After leaving a one-star review, Minix contacted me to start warranty support. This support was a little slow as they are not US based and would respond to my emails outside business hours here in the states. So, one email a day took a while for them to come to the same conclusion I had before contacting them. The SSD had failed and needed replaced. After a few weeks of the back and forth a new drive was shipped to me and then I had to load the OS to the device to get it going again. Not a problem for me as a full time IT professional. May be a problem for you if you aren't one. The device is working again and seems to be performing as it originally did.Make sure that you do not use the US support contact information provided on Minix's web site if you have trouble. Use their Hong Kong support as the US support does not exist and your emails will go unanswered.***Original Review***We purchased 27 of these for a business use. Most have been working just fine. We have had an SSD fail in one of these devices, so far, during the 1 year warranty period. We have emailed the support address the manufacturer provides on their website. We have received no response in over two weeks to multiple emails.Because of this, I cannot recommend purchasing these if you think you might need to rely on the warranty. If you only need these to work during the Amazon return period, then it may be worth the risk for you. Also, keep in mind that these units with the extra RAM you will have to physically open the device and install the RAM yourself. Not a problem for me, but it may be for you. It did cost several hours of labor to open and install all the RAM in 27 devices.

Not upgradeable to 1tb
The advertising on the Amazon page says this unit is upgradeable to a 1tb 2280 M.2 SSD. That is false where it is only capable up to 500gb.

Great Media Box
Mini PC is not as fast as a standard PC, but very good use as a media box. I wish that it came with a remote control.

Won't last
We started using these in late 2019 and early 2020, I configured them for our point-of-sale PC's at our 55 stores - 2 years later we've already lost over 10... they just died. Hard drive will not boot up - just gives errors. If you want a PC for longevity do NOT buy these! Not worth the money for only 2 years!
