Q: Would these be ok for flower seeds, say wallflowers, violas and petunias please? Thanks

See no reason why not. I used them for the first time this year to start off some vegetable seeds. So impressed with the results that I bought a second pack. Hopefully they will over winter okay and be fit for purpose next spring. Suggest using an old rectangular Tupperware box and put the disks in close together then add warm water until they swell up. Depending on how many you are using you may need to weight them down to stop them turning over and spilling some of the contents.

Q: Would they be suitable to vacuum pack for long term storage?

Not too sure. I have some left over from this year that I was wondering how to store and was probably just going to keep them in an old tin with a secure lid in my shed or garage. Not sure how long your "long term storage" idea is for, assuming from one season to next. Off the top of my head I cannot think of a reason why vacuum packing would not work. The disks are bone dry when sent out so the main thing is to keep them dry and probably not in a hot greenhouse over the summer. If you "pack" and I "tin" we can compare results next season!

Q: These are listed as peat free but then the product description says they are made of peat and just 25% coir so which is it??

I believe they have a little peat in them but not too much as when they dry out, the soil is like dust, so always keep them watered.

Q: Have i missed my chance to use these this year? I want to create some ivy cuttings.

You should be ok. Cover them with clinfilm to create a greenhouse effect
